I was forced to give a 1-star rating, however I KNOW that the service that I received at this location is certainly not deserving even of that. I ordered a falafel wrap, because I do not eat meat, and upon beginning to eat my wrap, realized that whoever prepared my wrap, partially filled it with falafel then made the rest with chicken... then went back to falafel. I was absolutely disgusted! As a vegan of almost 7 years, I make it a point to stress dietary restrictions when I place orders. Furthermore, I know that I put in my order correctly because my wrap was labelled as falafel. Anyway, upon pointing out this GLARING mistake to the workers, instead of receiving an apology, I was rudely spoken to, by an old woman in the shop (presumably the owner's great, great, great, great grandmother) began to passive aggressively say, loud enough for me to hear, but not at me: " we'll take her photo, and won't serve her again".... As if I would EVER eat at that Lazeez location again, which I politely informed this rude, haggard, old soul. I had to demand that I receive a full refund because, after they UNWRAPPED AND PUT THEIR UNCLEAN HANDS IN THE OTHER WRAPS THAT I HAD ORDERED, THEY HAD THE AUDACITY TO SAY THAT THE WRAPS "had clearly been unwrapped"!?! I was so disgusted and disappointed by the service that I received, I would never eat from the Lakeshore Road West location ever again, nor would I EVER suggest anyone else. Not only did they make a mistake and not apologize for it, they then had the audacity to speak to a paying customer (who never once yelled of used obscene OR disparaging language) as if I was somehow the reason for THEIR mistake. Again, not even deserving of a 1-star rating. Anywaaaaaaaaaaay, #BoycottLazeezonLakeshoreRoadWest #terriblecustomerservice #rudeoldlady...
Read morenever heard a good thing about this place and have always been hesitant to order from here but decided to give this place a chance. since they have so many locations i wrongfully assumed it would be at least decent. I never leave reviews but i was honestly so shocked by the poor quality of the food and presentation that i felt compelled to share my experience. I ordered a chicken wrap off uber eats and let me tell you not a single thing about my meal resembled a wrap or the taste of chicken. I don’t understand why when you order extra vegetables that they have to slap on two handfuls of each item. I took out so much of the vegetables and still i couldnt find even a lick of meat. Not only that, the entire thing was drenched in sauce and the sauce was so watery that the “wrap” was falling apart in my hands after the first few bites. Completely inedible. Like honestly all i could keep thinking about was that the person making my sandwich hates their job and is just being spiteful. Ive never had such a regretful meal and i honestly saw this as a complete disgrace to shawarmas and every other shawarma restaurant out there that actually cares about the culture and tradition that goes into making middle...
Read moreI have never written a review but this visit has compelled me to write my first one. And if it could be zero stars I would do it.
The only worker at the time I visited was someone who could barely speak English and when I gave her my order she insisted I would have to eat soggy fries as she isn't able to prepare a new batch despite me telling her I'm fine with waiting. And yet while I question her why she isn't able make fries (literally the easiest thing she could do and literally her job) she couldn't even understand what I was saying. Isn't it ironic the only coherent sentence she could put together was to tell me I would have to eat the old soggy fries or get nothing at all?
Yet another business taking advantage of exploitive labour hiring someone who isn't even capable of putting frozen fries in a fryer or speaking English to serve their patrons. I told her "I will come back another day" which she didn't understand. But it's fine. I will not be back.
Don't support...
