I had a terrible experience at the Pizza Pizza located on Prince Michael in Oakville I picked up from just after 10pm on February 4, 2023.
The employee who served me was extremely rude. I have never met this employee before although I regularly pick up from this location using the Too Good To Go App.
The employee said he had every right to refuse me the pizza if he wanted to. This was after I had already tapped the app to confirm pick up. He had insisted I tap it to confirm before serving me. He then insisted I make sure I had the correct location. Which he confirmed was correct on my app. He then said he wasn’t going to give me the pizza slices because I had complained to his boss about him. To repeat, I have never met this employee before.
Another customer witnessed everything and at that point intervened. She pleaded with him to be reasonable. He eventually handed over the pizza slices. I left the pizza pizza place shocked and very upset.
I want to add that I am a regular customer at this location and usually receive excellent service at this location. I gather this employee whom I had never before usually works in Mississauga and only comes to this location one day a week. That is the explanation he gave me when he said “I don’t know you and have to see the app” when I first arrived in the store.
I would hate for this buisiness to suffer because of this one employee and am reaching out for this...
Read morePizza came in 70 minutes, not the biggest issue in the world but by policy, we don't have to pay. We called customer service which did confirm we could have the pizza for free. But when the delivery guy arrived, he put the manager on the line who essentially begged us to pay. I understand not wanting to lose out on a sale but it IS the policy, and the way the manager spoke to us made us feel uncomfortable. We ended up paying because the manager seemed really desperate and asked us to "act like a human being", so it felt impossible to say no. This is NOT the fault of the guy delivering - he explained how many orders he had to deliver and I feel for him, but the way the manager was acting was not appropriate. Pizza Pizza is a multi-million dollar chain and not a local store, so I don't think it's cool for them to be making their customers feel uncomfortable for asking them to follow policy. We would have been happy to be offered a small discount or a coupon for the future instead of being guilted into paying in full. There should be a system in place to prevent so many orders being sent to the same location at the same time, especially considering how many Pizza Pizza locations there are in the area, to prevent this from happening in the future. Overall not...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Pizza Pizza, and I must say it was an absolute delight. From the moment I stepped through the door, I knew I was in for a treat.
The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a charming rustic decor that immediately set the mood for a cozy dining experience. The aroma of freshly baked pizza wafted through the air, creating a sense of anticipation that had my taste buds tingling.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the pizza. Oh, what a masterpiece! The crust was perfectly crisp on the outside and delightfully chewy on the inside. It provided the ideal canvas for the generous toppings that adorned each slice. The tomato sauce was rich and flavorful, and the cheese was gooey and expertly melted.
The service was exceptional – attentive without being intrusive. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their craft. Our pizzas arrived promptly, hot from the oven, and our drinks were...
