Beer Store 2058 — Restaurant in Oakville

The amount of times I have been overcharged here because they list beers on sale just to find out you paid full price is incredible. Bought two peronis here over a month ago listed on sale in your store at $3.60 and was charged $3.75. Went in again today and still the peroni was on sale for $3.60 and made sure to watch this time as the guy was scanning my can and sure enough $3.75 comes up again. The guy working there clearly doesn’t understand what false advertising is because he said the price in the system is the right price. Well thats great but your sign in your store says its on sale for $3.60. Guy wouldn’t honour their sale price they had listed and was expecting me to still buy the peroni at full price. He said oh we haven’t changed the sale sign over yet. To the people working here you’ve had over a month to correct that sale sign and still haven’t changed it to the correct price. Lazy employees here that can’t do a simple task and terrible customer service that you aren’t going to honour the price listed in your own store. It seems like a small amount but when it happens every single time I shop here it adds up to overpaying at least $20 to this terrible beer store that’s already overpriced for what you are getting. I will be watching the cash register like a hawk now every time I buy anything from here and I’ll be sure to correct the cashier when they are guaranteed to overcharged me the next time. Most of the people working there are friendly. I live close by and it's my go to for the last 15 years or so. I've had good experiences with 99% of the staff there including an older tall gentleman with glasses and a mustache whom I'm assuming is a manager. Great customer service from the young ladies and men who work there as well. Pls replace the interac machine near the door so I can use tap consistently! I've had two consecutive experiences last year during the lockdown where I didn't feel welcome. I don't want to mention who it is but it was clear he didn't want me there, he was friendly to many other ppl but in my case he almost barked orders about which line to stand in. This is all while we ALL (inclusive of customers) were adjusting to the new normal. I get you may be stressed out, but get with the program. I'm a customer, treat me with respect. Plus, going to the local beer store is one of my favorite 'errands'. I went in to get 6 James ready 500ml cans which are currently on sale now for $2.00 a can. I tapped my debit card to pay for the purchase and realized that I was charged over $18 !!!! When I questioned the gentleman thief that was working the till he told me with taxes and deposit that is the total !!! I was in a hurry and didn't have time to argue!!!!!
