I usually don't like to leave negative feedback, especially in a service establishment as it's a tough job, however the service I received today, along with my meal were extremely disappointing.
I came to the restaurant with my toddler son, we sat across from each other at a 4 person table, the waitress came by, dropped the menu on the opposite side of the table, didn't greet us in anyway and just walked away(if this was the only incident I had I would have just forgotten about it and moved on, however it was extremely rude and cold).
During the time that I orders,I asked for a side of pickles for my son as he was craving it, it was forgotten about when our food came(again if it was isolated I wouldn't make a big deal out of it, however a pattern was forming)
10 minutes into the meal the waitress walked by, didn't stop, and out of nowhere she says "do you want a to go container to pack that up?", and continued walking without stopping(it totally seemed as if she was trying to get us to leave)
Ontop of the rude service, she didn't once come to the table and ask if we wanted a refill, or if everything was ok with the food, we were dying for some water and she never came by once and if we saw her walking we didn't even have an opportunity to stop her.
We went the entire meal without a refill of our drink or with a cup of water we wanted. Truthfully the chicken wrap I got was really nasty and I didn't even get a chance to let them know about it.
In conclusion, maybe it was a bad day for this waitress, I won't name or describe her as you never know the circumstances behind it, but the service and food today was just bad, sorry however that is the truth. I hope that they work things out and improve, because I've been there many times in the past and typically the experience was not like this. I probably will not...
Read moreHad a late dinner here with family. I had the Guiness burger. Was very good especially because it was prepared to medium (or maybe medium to well) the hamburger patty was a little loose (so it's definitely prepared in house, which I think is a good thing)
there were two items in our order that were both a bit overcooked or something that were both deep fried. It was one piece of fish from fish and chips (they replaced since it was spotted immediately) and chicken fingers (which were cooked to the point of being hard (like knock on the table hard) I suspect the fry oil was old and/or just left in it too long) ( but also note that the portion size on the chicken tenders were really good (it was only two or three but they literally spanned the entire plate!)
BUT the waitress had it removed from our bill (offered to replace, but my nephew was done eating and we were ready for bill)- I give them kudos on this.
Also my sister in law decided that she wanted a different cooler after she saw it (something about not liking that one in the past) when it was brought to table (and the bottle was opened by waitress) I give them kudos in replacing it . Because I know that means they have to waste the first one - which is not something every place will do now a days.(and this has nothing to do with any issue by the staff it was completely due to preference on taste)
Like every place since COVID the prices here have crept up BUT this has nothing to do with them and the product they offer is very good and the service is excellent.
Also: we didn't order nachos but the table beside ours did and it was HUGE!!! By the way my nephew was eying it I could tell he is going to want to come back for that!!

Read moreMy experience with Tin Cup is usually wonderful, the staff is always very pleasant and helpful while dining in. Take out has always been exceptional as well. I work with a company who dines there quite often and also goes for drinks most nights. Never a complaint from any of us. HOWEVER. This afternoon I had called in an order for pick up for myself and a couple of co-workers. I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. 20 minutes later I arrived and paid for my food... I waited for 25 minutes before I was told that the kitchen had lost my order...25 minutes later. I was told to wait for 2 minutes and it would be ready.. i waited again for another 10 minutes. After I had said something to the lady cashing me out (who was wonderful) I had to ask for some sort of discount or gift card - I was told they were out and handed me $10. Once back at work we then found out that all 3 of our orders were wrong. I called back to let them know what the issue was, and they told me all they could currently do is apologize, and cover my next meal. I spent over $50, and included a tip.
