201 Grill and Game Bar — Restaurant in Ontario

The WORST experience in all my life. I had a birthday party booked for my 3 year old son, which I contacted the restaurant team three times to confirm details, and was told a section in the dining area would be set up for our party of 27 on all three occasions, and when we arrived there was NO HEAT, a table for 14 people that was set in the middle of the freezing cold arcade which was full of children running around (understandably as it's the arcade area, not a dining room) with the music so loud it impossible to hear each other speak. We tried to sing happy birthday to my son and he could not hear us over all the commotion surrounding us. When we asked them to turn down the music, they did, which was great, and then informed us that they were waiting for the heat to be repaired so there is NO HEAT (which is great for children under three that just got back from swimming....). Then ON TOP OF EVERYTHING when my guests were speaking to the servers with questions about the multiple machines that were taking coins and not working she told them snarky remarks like "I dont read minds" and "I'll get there when I can" and both servers were EXTREMELY sassy to me and all of my guests on multiple other occasions. We understand understaffing is happening but there is no reason to be rude or give attitude when asking simple questions. When I notified the staff about how upset I was about the tables being out in the freezing arcade and the fact that other random children were taking food off of our tables and eating it as they thought our food table was part of the arcade, I was talked down to, belittled and told that they never "promised" anything with a horrible attitude (which AGAIN these plans were confirmed three times via phone calls and in person...) and when I asked to talk to a superior I was told they will call when they have time as they charged my card. This was EXTREMELY embarrassing for me and my guests and completely ruined my son's 3rd Birthday. I WILL NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Oh and I was still charged full price after I voiced my complains about the rude and unacceptable attitudes of the staff and the poor customer service we all received. No "I'm sorry for the miss hap" or how can we make it better? From anyone. Just straight up bad attitudes and BACK TALK. I wasn't looking for a discount, I just wanted a fun party for our 3 year old son which we obviously did not get. I will ASSURE you anyone that asks me about this place will be fully informed to NEVER go there. Poor quality all around. EXTREMELY DISSAPPOINTED.... a server arguing with an upset customer about how THEY were right is always a great way to leave a lasting...

I recently attended my workplace Secret Santa and Christmas party at 201 Game and Bar Grill in Orillia, and I can confidently say it was one of the best holiday events I’ve been to! Our boss arranged the gathering, and the venue turned out to be the perfect choice. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was lively and welcoming, setting the tone for a fun-filled evening.

One of the biggest highlights of the night was the exceptional customer service. Jessica, our server, really made the experience stand out. She was not only super polite and professional, but she also made everyone feel right at home. Her friendly attitude and attentive service ensured we had everything we needed, and she handled our large group with ease. It's rare to find such top-notch service, and Jessica definitely made our time there even more enjoyable.

The games were a major hit! I absolutely loved the bumper cars—so much fun and surprisingly competitive. It was a unique experience that added an exciting twist to our party. The venue also offers a variety of other games, so there was never a dull moment.

The food and drinks were great too, with a nice selection that suited all tastes. It’s clear that 201 Game and Bar Grill knows how to deliver a full experience—good food, fun games, and excellent service all in one place.

If you’re looking for a spot to host a party, a fun night out, or just a place to unwind with friends, I highly recommend 201 Game and Bar Grill. It’s definitely a place where you can let loose and have a great time. I’ll be back for sure, and I’m already looking forward to...

Husband and I took our son and friend on a Wednesday night at 5 pm. There were 2 other people there when we came in 3 more came in after us to the bar and 2 others came in after to eat in the game area. There was one server working by herself and was great, but it was a lot for one person. The diet Pepsi was out and she didn't know how to change it, it took 15 minutes to get menus, another 20 to order and 45 minutes after that to get our food. The kids played and were busy so they didn't mind, I sat in the restaurant to wait. The restaurant was really cold. The server was also managing the games, some didn't work and she would have to get tokens back or run the bumper cars, she was really busy with 11 people to serve. She did a great job and the kids had a blast. The food was ok, it came out fresh and hot, just wasn't for us- we had pizza and wings. Also when we called ahead, the restaurant phone was out so the front desk was running over to ask questions/make reservations. Maybe just an off night with sick calls and the phones out/machines not working. Again, server did amazing considering all she was managing and probably more that we don't see. We will try it again, hopefully this is...
