The last 3 times I was there - every one of those times there was too much sugar in my coffee. The last of the 3 times I was there, I mentioned this to my order taker and they told me that there is something wrong with the sugar dispenser. I requested that they put in the equivalent of sugar in my coffee that I asked for - hoping this would fix the problem. My coffee was too sweet again. I have worked at Tim Horton's in the past - so I know that sometimes the sugar dispensers require recalibrating from time to time. I could tell when the dispenser was 'off' and so I would add more or less to compensate in such cases. Nevertheless, my coffee was wrong again and you don't want to ask for a new one if this happens - the time before this visit the worker dropped my double cup on the floor and then still used it and i never asked for a double cup so i couldn't drink it and got ripped off another 3$.. Most Tim Horton's workers are miserable and just don't care (customers treat workers like slaves and expect their orders to be ready in less than 1 minute - well guess what? They are people, not robots! And the picky order you just made takes time). Plus they are trained to push orders through (money/numbers before people & quality of products served). My suggestion is if you want your coffee right ask for cream/milk and sugar/sweetener on the side and do it yourself. Bring a lunch with you to work or when you go out - their food is a rip off anyways and a lot of times food isn't kept at the right temperature (especially cold-cuts) I got written up for throwing out bad meat (one of many reasons why I quit never mind the sexual harassment that goes on there). Carrianne (who works in the office at colborne, atherly and mostly fittons location has meth mouth and I don't take orders from or have any respect for junkies!). On top of that some of these workers have been at Tim Horton's for well over a decade - not my life long dream! So basically know when you go there that you're basically asking what may be a complete loser to make your food or coffee for you! Go Team! - I don't think so! It is what it is - don't expect the best from ANY...
Read moreWent at 9:30pm Sunday Apr. 7th. Girl on headset was tall and skinny, mid-30s. Very grumpy sounding. Told her I had mobile order at the window and she proceeded to freak out saying I wasn’t allowed to do that and had to tell her at the speaker. I had no idea this was a requirement that i HAD to tell them at the speaker. She was either having a bad day or her manager is cranky about drive thru times. Either way, unfair treatment for a small mistake. I apologized and she still gave attitude and proceeded to give me a caffeinated tea when I specifically ordered decaf. I am allergic to caffeine so I had to dump it. Extremely unpleasant experience likely over Tims’ obsession with order times. Hard to want to come back if I am going to have to deal with temper tantrums from the staff every time and be given food i can’t eat. Waste of...
Read moreWent through the drive-through to place a drink and food order. Kid taking the order was mocking a Foreign accent, half way through he could not control his laughter you can hear him saying sorry in very clear English laughing away others in the background laughing. While roughly 5 cars in line kids are just fooling around inside your restaurant like it’s a hang out. There is a time and place for joking around and having fun these kids are not mature enough to be working in customers service or handling food looks really bad for the owners of this location I drove away went to another location because not a chance if those are the employees working will I ever order from there. I hope management looks into this as it could cause a lot bigger issues if they do that to the...
