Hit and miss on our first time here. The dry friend green beans were excellent, the pork moo shu with garlic scapes was truly delicious (even though it was a bit oily) and the best part of the seafood fried rice was the rice itself, which was perfect (the prawns were large but entirely flavour-free and the peas were insufficiently cooked). I don't care if a restaurant serves 10 dishes that don't move the dial. What I care about, and what the vast majority of you care about, is whether there is at least one or, if we're lucky, several dishes that remind us of the special qualities of a region we love. 5 stars for THAT. Yes, 5...
