I have not gone here for years despite hearing from my relatives said they found cockroaches roaming around the establishment. If they have any pest nor how disgusting their washrooms are. You should be concern how hygienic this breakfast establishment is clean or not. The last visit here is okay, but there are better alternatives you can find. It just mediocre food and coffee they serve that the business mark up the price. You can drive a a few kilometres towards the Masonville area for Pür & Simple near Wendy’s across from Masonville Mall. If I had to choose a breakfast place in the morning. I would rather go to Milestones bar & grill restaurant in Masonville Mall. Good reasonable price, clean and more premium quality. I would never step a foot; if there is any pest, dirty washrooms or the quality of service have gone done. I would not choose Cora Breakfast as your number one option to dine-in place. I would recommend Singing Chef at London, Ontario’s Hyde Park area beside Starbucks. Those are the better options out there than Cora Breakfast. I do not want cockroaches or any foreign particles touching my food here. My brother once told me a friend of his went here. A staff saw a cockroach. She screamed and stomp on that cockroach. This city of London, Ontario is not like Toronto or New York City where it is not commonly prone to pest. How can this business have so much...
Read moreThis was a huge disappointment. Went here today, on a Saturday, at noon. I read the menu before, which has a lunch portion. There is a condition for lunch that reads "weekdays after 11 a.m.". I figured this meant they either didn't have it on weekends (which is poor business practice, and is what I expected) or that they had it available all day on weekends (Not expected, but hopeful). The former turned out to be true, to my expectation and disappointment, but I was prepared just in case. I ordered a sandwich with home-fries and my girlfriend ordered a gravlax bagel. The food was atrocious. The sandwich lacked any flavour, the meat tasted like breadcrumbs, my "home-fries" were as soft and white as mashed potatoes and the smoothie I ordered (Strawberry banana) left an odd burning sensation in my throat. My girlfriend seemed happy enough with her bagels, even though the salmon was off-coloured, but she isn't picky at all. The coffee was good, but I wish I could say the same for the actual food. For french-inspired foods with french origins, there is not one person who works here who appears to have a trace of french in them. Unfortunately, this is what happens when businesses franchise and sell to people who don't know what they're doing. Can't see myself coming back, poor quality even by breakfast...
Read moreWas at this Cora's today for brunch. As expected I showed up at their busiest time, 11:00 a.m. on a Sunday. The wait was about 15 minutes. Fortunately the weather was fine and the wait pleasant. Once I was shown my table, I was served in a prompt and timely manner by a very attentive waitress, Katherine. I ordered two eggs sunny side up, with bacon and home fries. The order was prepared for me in about 10 minutes.
The presentation of the plate, at first, was quite eye appealing. But the first thing I noticed right off the bat however were how small the eggs were. For me, this was disappointing. Further, they was slightly over cooked around the edges (burnt). A bit of a let down. The bacon was nice and crispy but razor thin, but the portions were generous . The fried potatoes were perfectly cooked, no problems there. As for the fruit, a really nice display even though I don't bother eating them. The one thing I did notice about the toast though, and to my surprise, is I think they're using oleo instead of butter?
My overall experience, I would say, was pretty good; I enjoyed my meal and went home with that satisficed feeling. I found the price of today's brunch to be reasonable for what I received plus...
