I ordered the exact same drink today that I bought yesterday, yet I was charged more. When I asked why, the employee said it was because of a milk swap ā even though I didnāt change my milk ā and then added, āI donāt want to lose my job, so the extra charges stay and maybe yesterday they forgot to charge for milk.ā
This is completely inappropriate. As a customer, I should never be put in a position where an employee uses fear of losing their job to justify overcharging me. Charging different prices for the same drink on different days is unfair enough, but framing it as āI don't want to get fired so accept the inconvenienceā is unacceptable and unprofessional.
As a regular customer trying to make healthier choices, I expect consistent pricing, clarity, and respectful service ā not excuses that put both me and the employee in an uncomfortable and unjust situation.
While this experience was frustrating, itās especially concerning that corporate and the person responding to my review seem to be doing nothing to ensure this issue is addressed appropriately. Their response does not resolve the problem and fails to take responsibility for the inconsistent pricing and inappropriate behavior I experienced.
I typically order Nuttin Better. I take out the juice and sorbet. I keep everything else. I add bananas and hemp hearts. When I asked why I was charged more than yesterday, the cashier said it might have been the milk, but I keep the skim milk in the drink as is.
At the end of the day, I come in almost every day. I consistently pay more for my drink because I switch out sugary ingredients for healthier ones. The drinks at Booster Juice have more sugar than some sodas, so itās very important to customize them with healthier ingredients and whole foods. I love my regular smoothie and I will continue to come in and pay extra for it.
But today I was charged more for the same drink as yesterday. You didnāt address the issue, and the employee punching in my order should never give me a hard time while claiming she might lose her job. You should have fairer practices and consistency in place to ensure I am not getting overcharged for the same drink...
