Pita Pit — Restaurant in Ontario

I pretty much order the same thing every time because it’s yummy but NEVER ONCE has my order been wrong… and my order is extremely weird. I get all different kinds of weird items in my gyro bowl and it’s always perfection! The food is always fresh and there are so many options to choose from. Always comes hot and I love it’s consistency. All the staff are very friendly. I went in tonight to pick up my online order and it was PERFECT! Both employees were super nice and absolutely friendly. They are always fast and they always care enough to say “thank you” to customers. That kind of service goes a long way!

As a loyal customer, I’ll be 1000% honest I read all the reviews. All you 1 star reviewers make me laugh. YOU CANNOT GET FOOD POISONING WITHIN 5 MINUTES! It’s most likely something you ate the day before you came in. I have been in during super busy times and never had anyone “yell” at me over the counter or be rude. I think maybe you expect too much for what you pay. This isn’t Michaels On The Thames… it’s your local pita pit. I’m really Disappointed this time, me and my wife come here at least trice in a week to have a Falafel Pita. Just walked out today with sad face. The Manager knows us so well, and she is really helpful and always smiling and trying to make conversation with us. But today there were two girls working, our order was taken and made by white girl with pink top she was extremely rude. We asked for Hummus she is like we just have tiny bit left for the whole night, she asked me that are you ok if I put the leftover hummus which was sticking on the walls of the container. So I said that’s ok if you don’t have hummus, can I have extra cheese instead! She said NO!!! We ate at the restaurant on Monday June 6 2022 The reason for the one star review is as follows Got a chicken ceasor wrap with In 2 hours in the bathroom with a bucket. Called next day Very Rude manager. Just wanted to give her a heads up she told me it takes 24 for food poisoning before I hung up told her my next call was the health unit. Called unit explained my illness they went out to pita pit that day. Now to Wednesday end up in Emerg Victoria hospital 3 bags of IV fluids later they let me go hope with instruction if it get worse come back. Told my Husband Tuesday night if I died I would feel better. I You want tp eat here save any leftovers as health unit might want them I lost 2 days of my life I will never get back.
