First time attending this establishment and I definitely won't be returning, however I am writing this review so that people are aware when they order food from this place. And to raise awareness towards the owner so that he doesn't take advantage of customers in the near future.
I ordered the chicken shawarma platter. So on their menu and on their website it states you have the option of choosing either rice or fries, and I wasn't asked that. So when I went up to the fellow, I asked him If I had the option and he said I'll add both for you, so I said okay great even better!
Upon receiving my platter, I noticed that there was a large portion of chicken on the platter and I was wondering why I never received the fries.. So once I dug into the shawarma, I noticed the fries were UNDERNEATH the Shawarma!!! Making it seem like the chicken was a "large" portion, I was extremely disappointed. Both the fries and Shawarma were such little portions. That I can handle, BUT when you take advantage and try and trick customers, that's a big NO NO! Such a shame.
As for the food, garlic sauce was way too strong, Shawarma was very very plain and no taste whatsoever. There was barely any salad.
Anyways, just a heads up for people going there. The food is definitely not worth it. And watch out for being taken advantage of. I am a big foodie and I want to express this review for the honest ones attending this...

Read moreSo very disappointed with my dine in at Cedar north yesterday. I was there with a friend, her kids and myself and daughter. I was raving about this place to me friend and really wanted her to try it as in the past I was so pleased with the food, service and atmosphere. We ordered tabouli each..which was a big disappointment, didn't even have bulgar in it and was such a small portion for 12$...we asked why no bulgar in it and they said due to ppl having allergies..this should be stated on the menu...ppl have allergies to many things...not a reason, especially since traditionally this is how it should be served. Our sandwiches and main dishes were tasty, but really cheaped out on the protein. When we went to pay for our bills my friend paid for her own and I paid for myself and daughter...I was overcharged 4$...which I didn't realize until after the fact as I started doing the math in my head..I called to let them know and they tried to deny it and make up different reasons...I was told the manager will call me back and unfortunately that never happened. So sad how we finally thought we found a good middle eastern place and unfortunately proved us wrong. Service is so important,...
