I’d like to start off by saying I go to work every morning 7 days a week around 2am and I stop at Timmy’s to get a coffee in the morning every morning I ask them to please make sure coffee is still hot so I can enjoy my morning coffee before my graveyard shift and they always say yes and my coffees always cold so I decided to ask for a fresh pot first night she assures me she had just made it. It takes me 4 minutes to get to work and my coffee is cold so the next night I ask for a fresh pot again she tells me the same story I tell her to please make sure it’s still hot cause I like my coffee hot not cool. I get to the window I try the coffe it’s not hot i ask her to please just make me a fresh batch she tells me no because it’s hot so I explain to her it’s not she won’t listen I actually put my hand in the coffee and show her that it’s not hot and she still won’t make me a fresh pot I asked why I am fighting to get a hot coffee I just want a HOT COFFEE! And she gives me $2 and tells me to leave when I bought 3 large coffees but I was complaining about my own because I never tried the other. BUT INSTEAD OF JUST MAKING MY COFFEE SHE GAVE ME $2 and SHUT THE WINDOW ON ME AND GAVE ME THE FINGER WORST Timmy’s Ever! P.S. The deplorable employees names are CHRISTINA( older shorter lady) & JULIE (younger lady) WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT PEOPLE WOULD HIRE STAFF SO DESPICABLE Night of occurrence March 11, 2018 between 3am-3:30am because time changed a hour ahead at 2am...
Read moreI come here for coffee nearly every morning as it's the most convenient place and I have tried to give it the benefit of the doubt but every single day I come in, there are anywhere from 5-10 staff working at any given time. Not a single time have I come in and had someone actually waiting at the cash to take an order for customers in the store. Typically you come in and wait 5+ mins to even be acknowledged by staff, and after that you expect the decency of "hey sorry for the wait", but I have never heard those words once. It feels like the staff genuinely don't care, no one tries to provide any level of customer service. These are just basics, it would go a long way for management to teach the staff the fundamentals of customer service, it's not hard, maybe smile every once in a while and genuinely want to interact with customers and when it comes to having a line of people maybe actually just take their order instead of diddling your thumbs for 5 minutes inconveniencing everyone who comes here for the simple fact that it is supposed to be convenient and quick. Food is Tim Hortons food so I don't blame them, the quality is what you expect so it's nothing to write home about. Overall there are lots of improvements that could be made, maybe hire employees with a mild amount of enthusiasm about...
Read moreThis was the first time I had brought in my own thermos for hot water instead of using one of their cups. I need to do this regularly, as I need the hot water for a medical issue. I’ve been doing this for over a year at Tim Hortons and McDonald’s and have never ever been charged. So today I asked if it would be a problem for them to fill my small thermos up instead of using a paper cup. He said he could and it doesn’t cost anything. But then he hesitated and asked his grumpy old coworker and she told him to charge me! Even after he said it was no charge. This was extremely bad customer service. I’m not upset about the extra I was charged. I’m upset by the principal. Once you tell someone something is no charge, it should be no charge. And it always seems like these types of decisions are made by really unhappy, bitter people. I will not be returning to this Tim’s ever again. There is a McDonald’s in the same spot. They hand me hot water with a smile. Never problems over there. I also wanted to write this review to let others know. There are lots of mothers out there needing formula warmed for their baby and lots of people who have disabilities that need it as well. I hope they are ashamed...
