from 4 stars moving them to 1, well wanted to make it 0 but that option is not there. I used to be a frequent to this place, the very first time it was great. During pandemic one day the service was bad to the point the dirst order of food took almost 20 minutes to come. Gave them the benefit of doubt after all it was pandemic so all the trips during that time I let it pass. So last week went for dinner and have to say it was bad. I originally had a party of 10 and they couldn't accommodate all of us in the same table so we split. on the big table where we were seated, the person came and gave us the IPAD to start ordering. 8 people and there were only 3 plates. After 5-7 minutes I had to ask the the person to give more plates and chopsticks. He asked me how many plates I need. A bit confused as he knew exactly how many people were on the table. Anyway told him what we needed. He brings the plates with no chopsticks. waited another 5 minutes and then had to ask for the chop sticks. a table of 8 only had 1 small of wasabi and ginger and a bottle of soy sauce. yes I had to call them again to give more wasabi and soy sauce. Ordered our salad and soup and that didn't come till middle of the dinner and that also we had to ask him that our orders are missing and they have already started serving the sushi and sashimi. During this whole mess I repeatedly told him that they need to up their service. I have spoken highly about this place to my guests and it was proving me wrong from a service standpoint. He was nice enough to remind me the last order has to be put in by 8:30pm. when we ordered our dessert he took the ice cream order but comes back after few minutes stating they are out of certain flavor. again can't blame him for not knowing what is available in the back And of course when the bill came he also explained because we had more than 6 people they had to add the gratuity. for the service that was given i personally didn't think they deserved 15% tip. But as it is mandatory I wasn't arguing but definitely told them 15% gratuity for the service they provided is not something I agree with. more of less all sushi places are similar when it comes to food but it is the service that counts. And paying 35 dollars per person for dinner menu they should...

Just spoke with this establishment, one we frequent often and order takeout from quarterly. We are a family of 5: 2 adults, 2 seniors and a toddler (3yr). We asked prior to attending if it would be OK if only one person paid sashimi price all you can eat on account that the seniors don't eat raw fish, one adult is pregnant and can't, and the toddler isn't allowed. We were told all members would have to pay the extra 10$ or so because they couldn't ensure the sashimi wouldn't be shared. Totally understandable. So... I asked could I just eat at another table, I was advised "yes, but don't you want to sit with your family?". I responded "yes I would but I unfortunately don’t have that option and I'd like to take my inlaws out one last time before they leave Canada". (They are scheduled to fly out the next day returning home to the Philippines) I was abruptly cut off and hung up on with the last words being shared "I suggest you go somewhere else".

Well I absolutely will. Not that you knew this at the time, although it shouldn't make a difference in your customer service, but our annual spend at your establishment was in excess of 1500$ annually.

That was an expensive phone call.

P.s. their food is great, but we have seen a drastic decline in their professionalism and service this last year or so; wrong items on takeout, menu items not being in stock (ones you've paid extra all you can eat fees for), dishes with absent ingredients (a California roll...

We headed to Nov 8 Sushi Galore for a family celebration. It was the most disappointing experience I have had at this restaurant- a place we have been many times. From the service to the food, there was not much to be desired. After asking for a booth, we were given a long table in the centre of the restaurant. New plates were dropped off at the end of the long table but not distributed. I had to get up from my seat to reach them. Our order was placed, three members ordering the buffet and 2 ordering a la carte. Two parts of each a la carte came first but the rest of the order was slow to arrive. Utensils had to be requested but it was tough to catch the server in between stealthily drop-offs. We had to request the second part of the a la cartes...the calamari was beyond fried. Terrible. The rest of the menu items were dropped haphazardly without a word sometimes without their accompanying sauce/dip. We were often left guessing at what was delivered. Some items were not recognizable from what we had ordered via the tablet. In addition, we had to remind the server of items still not delivered. I shared my disappointment with the server and manager. I was told there was new staff- that did not explain the low quality and presentation of the food. I was told the owner would call. The whole experience was very disappointing. Date of visit:...

All-You-Can-Eat Japanese in London, ON. . I didn’t want to eat a lot of sushi, nigiri and maki so I went to this place as they have varied selections of grilled fish and meats and sashimi and shrimps. . The service was lighting fast. Steven/Stephen was welcoming and incredibly attentive. The quality of ingredients used was first rate and very fresh. . The tuna sashimi was good but the salmon was incredible. I had a few servings of them along with the hefty servings of grilled salmon, beef ribs, tenderloin and skewered shrimps and beef. The favourite of the night was the Beef Negimaki - green onion, mushrooms wrapped with beef. . The few rolls I’ve tasted were awesome but I only ordered one round of those as I came mostly for the meat and shrimps. . Desserts were deep fried milk, deep fried bananas in chocolate sauce and green tea, mango, coconut and red bean ice cream were the perfect sweet endings to another night of gluttony. . An awesome discovery in this unfamiliar city.

I love Asian food. I am a lover of wonton soup, dumplings, chow mein, ramen, and even pho. However, I’ve never given sushi a chance. Tonight, I went out of my comfort zone. At Nov. 8 Sushi Galore Fanshawe, you can either get á la carte or all you can eat ($35). I went for the latter. They have an ingenious ordering system that makes everything easy and efficient. To order dishes, you use an iPad on your table as a kiosk, and your sever will give you a password. There is no limit, so order as much as you like. I stuffed my stomach with several types of sushi, some sashimi, tempura, the Hot and Sour Soup, a deep fried banana, and their complementary ice cream (you can choose from eight flavours). Amber was the best server ever! She walked me through the ordering process and was very helpful. I left with a passion for a new area of Asian food. Sushi Galore is an awesome place for people just getting into sushi or sushi lovers on a low budget.

standard sushi spot in hyde park, nothing too special, though it is better than 168 and heart sushi. party trays seem like they’re a good deal, it is more worth it to get versus if you were to get each item a la carte. the sushi overall average. the rice is lacking vinegar and a bit undercooked, the fish for some was really fishy. like the tuna roll in my tray, it was very hard to chew and you can see all the white fat there aswell. the only good thing was the torched salmon nigiri i ordered on the side. overhyped spot in my opinion, overall i rate this place 6/10 for its price, flavour and quality for the tray, 4 extra nigiris, and yam tempura + $5 tip, this meal was almost $80 might possibly come back to try their ayce to see if it is any better
