Without a managing figure on site, the staff that is responsible for making drinks are very disorganized. On two different occasions, I have sat down for 20 & 25 minutes waiting for my order number to be called. I understand that for efficiency, some orders behind mine will be made first due to multiple orders being similar. However, on both occasions, my order has been skipped ahead by 10 people that ordered after me. During the second visit, when I waited for 25 minutes on my order, I ask the barista how much longer until my drinks are ready. She finds my first drink but has yet to even find the cup that is labeled with my drink, scouring through the different cups that have been scattered on her table and then finally asks what kind of drink did I order. When the second barista calls my order number minutes later, it was to give me my first drink and was not communicated at all by the second barista about the second drink to the order. Minutes after, I am able to receive what I have paid for. I understand that Chatime is a very well-known brand, and that this experience will not happen to many. Read moreHad a terrible experience tonight at chatime. I had ordered 5 large roasted milk tea with grass jelly and had asked for extea sugar. This is my usual order. Once I left and tried one of the drinks I relaized it didnt taste like there was any sugar in it. I went back immediately and explained the situation. The employees was not friendly and was insinuating that I was lying. They were not apologtic or seemed like they cared. I even suggested to bring back my other 4 drinks to let them know i wasnt lying. While i was waiting for them to redo my drinks I heard them talking among themselves and said they did put extra sugar in the drinks. I obviously could hear them? Edit 2023: since the first owner passed on the business, I have to change my review. Service has slowed down to a crawl even if there aren't many customers, and numerous times my order was wrong. On one occasion they made an expectated mistake and made me a small instead of a large. Instead of making me a new one, the kid working simply added more water and gave it back to me. When I asked why they didn't make another because now it was watered down (that's what they would of done before), the girl said said "sorry I cant". Go to Cocos, better drinks, better service.
