I had an unpleasant experience with one of your crews today at 654 Wonderland Rd. This was late afternoon and there were three crews working at the time. The lady who typically handles drinks preparation was on duty, and I'm familiar with her because my family and I are regular customers of your Coco milk tea establishment. However, on this occasion, a new crew member was being trained, and he took my order.
After he took my order, I scanned my card and the new crew member handed me the printed receipt. I proceeded to walk towards the seating area to wait for my drink. While I was walking, the crew member who was training the new employee called me and said that I did not pay. The tone and manner of communication made me feel as though I had intentionally attempted not to pay. There were people waiting in line behind me who overheard this, which made me feel as if I was trying to get free drinks.
I checked the receipt that was handed to me earlier and saw that my order matched the details printed. I was unaware that the transaction was unsuccessful and believed that the machine successfully scanned my card because the crew handed me the receipt. I work in customer service myself, I know that there are better ways to let me know that I need to scan my card again.
I have receipts that show I always pay for my drinks every time I purchase from your establishment. I have been a loyal customer in this branch for over two years, and this experience was very disappointing for me. All your other crews in this branch that I've interacted with in the past were very courteous, especially the ladies. I never complained about the long wait times because I understand that they are working hard to serve every customer.

Read moreMy experience here hasn’t been good. I’ve been here several times with indifference, but this time it deserved a review. Upon entering there was no other customer at the counter. Great I thought, no waiting. I was wrong, a 2nd customer entered after me and went to the counter beside me. The worker who acknowledged I was there went to serve the 2nd customer who I then figured was a delivery guy. So I wait (restraining my inner Karen) for them to start processing 4 drinks for the other guy before even taking my order. Hmm, not a good idea. It got worse. I finally order 1 bubble tea and wait. Meanwhile they keep making drinks that must be coming in electronically. I continue to wait. Then a 3rd customer comes in, orders and also waits. He gets his drink made and he leaves. I’m still waiting. This is now 10 minutes and 5 other drinks later. Finally get my 1 drink, not even an “I’m sorry for the wait” or “I appreciate you waiting” or “we’re swamped with orders”…nothing. So here is my review. If you want to be ignored (poor customer service) while buying $7 tea (poor value) this is the place! They were lucky that my daughter likes their drinks, but they will need that luck to continue as wise customers go elsewhere. I won’t be back but I will spread this experience, get your bubble tea drinks elsewhere, there are many places that would be happy to serve customers…Coco isn’t it.
UPDATE: been there twice since and my experience has improved. Raising to 3 stars…they’re still focused on electronic orders over walk-in customers. Maybe I’m old-school but I also refuse to use self-checkouts anywhere…don’t support job killers like...

I came in to order three drinks late evening Aug 4th. First the cashier’s demeanour upon walking in was just rude. But i get being tired and not being able to have good expressions all the time. But while ordering I kept getting interrupted by the cashier, having to repeat my order SEVERAL times. I slowed my speech and specified the ice and sugar levels for the worker so she could properly punch in the order but regardless she kept interrupting me rudely. Without confirming my order she just loads the payment. I decided to shrug that off but when my drinks came out she gave me the wrong drink, and when i told her it was the wrong drink she gave attitude saying, “ no its not” “you didnt say that” hello???????? another worker had to step in and say sorry, and remake my order.
It would have been dismissed by me and deemed a mistake if i had said the order once. But having to repeat my order over 6 times to the cashier and getting attitude when she gets its wrong it so disrespectful.
