Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill Windsor — Restaurant in Ontario

I am normally not the type to leave a bad review based off of one experience; however this was quite possibly my worst experience in some time and a large majority is due to the (lack of) service. I did not monitor how long it took for our server to finally introduce himself and get our drink order, but it felt a lot longer than one would expect considering the restaurant was not busy (I would say over 10 minutes). I advised him that I would like to start with a water for now, as I intended on getting a beer later on once I had my meal.

With that being said, I never had the chance to order my beer because our server never made it back to our table after we placed our order. Another server gave us our food—which is fine—but he never bothered to check on us to see if we enjoyed our meal or if there is anything else we needed. He had passed by our table a total of 7 times to tend to other tables and did not bother to even ask if anyone needed a refill!

Needless to say, I did not get to order my beer before completing my meal and I had to flag down another server to get my bill, who in turn had to locate him. Turns out he was sitting down rolling cutlery a couple tables behind me which was even more insulting that he could not take the time to do a quick check on a table that was in his line of sight.

I was compelled to leave a 0% tip after this experience but I could not, despite the terrible service. As a result, I am reconsidering whether I will continue to patron this restaurant, as I have in the past with...

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Called the restaurant on June 27th around 9pm to reserve a table for 5 in the next 10mins. The lady that answered the phone was advised to tell guests that they are no longer seating you if you have a party over 4 because of a grad that finished(we were part of the grad that just ended) the only guests being seated were tables of 4 and under. I asked if that was for the time being or if that was for the rest of the night and she went to go and confirm those details with a manager. She then came back on the phone to tell me that unfortunately for the rest of the night they will not be seating parties over 4 or more. We were a table of 5. I even asked if they could make an exception because we had 1 extra person and she still said no. Mind you my self and my sister travelled from the GTA to come to Windsor to celebrate this graduation. To decline PAYING CUSTOMERS from being served at this restaurant because of a sudden change in guests walking in from a grad was a type of unprofessionalism I have never experienced before. Especially this time of the year most restaurants are well prepared and will happily take business right now from graduation celebrations. Completely unacceptable with zero hospitality in this city. We then called another restaurant not too far from this unprofessional establishment that seated our table of 5 happily and with amazing service even with minutes to spare from closing. Hi there I was with my family sep 30th like we order appetizers they bring it on are table with no side plates no napkins I head to turn around to look where I see side plates on one of there table got up took it I am server my self before my appetizers coming out I make sure there is plates napkins wet wiped so as I said it was horrible the server who served as is Christiane. After are food arrived my wings where 80% dry no sauce than one serving girl I asked here my wings to be in sauce she she did it brought my wings sauce was ice cold I did not wanted to bring my food back just wanted to have dinner with family to go... my daughter head to wait 15 minut for the ranch my husband same for gravy after are dinner came I stocked all appetizers dishes she was walking 10 time around are table not picking up are plates waited 15 minut for box to go 😑 as I said every time I am getting horrible service every time I am mood wings saying okay late go to chucks Maybe we ll get best servis tonight but no every time I go it gets so bad. Before this date we whent we head to wait 45 minut for drink table after as came they got there drink there wings we where still waiting for are drinks and food to be taken I call supervisor or manager dont know who he was I bring this tension he said oh but they having wings only I said we are having wings to and we where there before them we are 45 minut here waiting for drink..... as I said horrible special when they bring u wings with cold sauce 😤...
