Indian Paramount Restaurant — Restaurant in Ontario

Me and my husband visited this place on sunday which is dec 14/2024 around 8PM for dinner. Here is my honest review regarding this place what we have experienced. 1 . As soon as we entered ,we got warm welcome from one of the guy from restaurant which felt so nice . And the ambience is good . We ordered Indian style chicken fried rice, chicken dum biriyani , two fountain drinks and some paramount special chicken dry. Before the food comes, we opened our napkins and both of our napkins are filled with grey hair. Which is gross. I told them and they have changed it.

Once our food arrived ,we had starter first it is kind of no taste just having some deep fried chicken with no flavour in it . We didn't like it but we finished it off ( I dont like wasting my food).

Then we got our indian style fried rice and biriyani. As soon as i got the order ,it smelled like fish, I kept silent and I didnt even tell my husband regarding the smell because he dont like fish at all( that is the reason we ordered chicken). But when my husband tasted it, he literally felt the fish smell even i felt too. We asked them to check whether they used the same Wok which is used to cook fish or used the same oil. She checked with the chef and she told no we didnt use any of them. It was literally smelling like fish and we left the fried rice .

Biriyani was ok but full of ghee.

We drank the water provided by them with out noticing there is some particles in the bottle they served. It looks like some fungus or some food particles which is gross.

The lady who works there she started blaming us. I dont think thats the good behaviour with the customer.

Finally they gave some discount for the things which went wrong from there end .

After coming home i got food poisoned and took two days to recover .thats the reason i am writing review after two days.

Dont get fooled with the ambience . This restuarant is gross and food is not...

If you're craving authentic Indian flavors or Indian-style Hakka Chinese dishes, Indian Paramount Restaurant in London, Ontario, is the perfect spot! My wife and I visited for lunch, and the experience exceeded our expectations.

We began with the Manchow Soup, which was full of bold, authentic flavors and just the right amount of spice. For our main course, we selected the Amritsari Kulcha and the Dhaniya Paneer Platter from their lunch menu. The kulcha was perfectly crispy and flavorful, while the paneer platter came with fresh, hot naan and a refreshing cold drink—absolutely satisfying!

We also ordered takeout for our kids, choosing Fried Momos, Veg Manchurian, and Hakka Noodles. When they tried it at home, they loved it, especially the noodles and momos, which brought back the nostalgic taste of food from India.

A special thanks to Yashi, who took our order and served us exactly as per our expectations. I also appreciate that they allow you to customize the spice level, matching the authentic flavors and heat you’d find back in India.

I recently visited Indian Paramount Restaurant with my family, and I must say, the experience was amazing! The food was so delicious and flavourful that we were too excited to even take pictures before eating. By the end of the meal, our plates were completely empty—a clear sign that Chef Suriya has perfected the art of cooking to please all age groups!

A special thanks to Chef Suriya, because for the first time in five years, my kids specifically requested to visit this Indian restaurant over their usual choice of pizza or burger places. That’s how much they loved the food! It’s such a joy to see my kids enjoying and craving Indian flavours.

I also want to appreciate Mohit for his excellent service. The restaurant not only offers amazing food but is also very economical. For instance, the soup with a medium portion size can easily serve four people, making it a perfect choice for families. The combination of quality, quantity, and affordability is unmatched!
