Country Kitchen Restaurant — Restaurant in Ontario

Been coming here since I was a child. We come here as a tradition just for the eggs benny. Service was okay.. it’s been 10/10 the rest of the time. But bought pancakes and told the waitress that it was off and the three pancakes were split for four people and the boy beside us didn’t like his either.. the old lady wasn’t pleased and tried to make it seem like we were lying… “we’re been serving them all morning” disregarding what we just told her (and she wasn’t even our waitress) We told her if she could just tell the cook that’s all we were expecting. Just for her to address it to him. “You can tell the other waitress” as she went into the kitchen? But couldn’t tell the cook … are main waitress went by the initial D. on the bill. Didn’t speak to us at all or ask if we needed water and such she offered coffee the first time around but then didn’t really see her since… we had to ask for water.. other then that.. wasn’t a great experience. The waitresses were avoidant and off putting.. never had a unwelcoming experience there before. We left...

First time here, we are from Windsor and decided to go for a drive to Chatham to check out some local stores. We have hit most breakfast places in Windsor so figured we would try a place in Chatham. The place is very clean, the staff is very friendly and the food is very good. Prices are on par with every other breakfast location we have visited. We ordered the #1 meal which was 2 pancakes with choice of eggs and meat. I ordered scrambled with sausage and chocolate chips in the pancakes. The sausage is very tasty and the pancakes were yummy. The portion size was perfect, we won't need to have lunch since we didn't arrive in town until 10:30. I was so hungry that I forgot to take the picture before diving in. I was just having a wonderful breakfast with the most hard worked staff at this restaurant. I like going here the staff here are so wonderful and always eager to please.

The cooks never stop cooking this place is always busy. This is how you tell how good a restaurant is, if it is always busy that means that the food is always good.

If you are in the neighborhood please feel free to stop in and try the food I bet you will be surprised at how good it really is.
