I don't usually do restaurant reviews but the last 2 times I went to Cousin Vinny's the customer service was horrible. Deliberately rude I would say. Bad experience #1 went in there the tables where you can sit to eat were dirty. Cleaned the table myself with a wipe. Went & placed my order of 2 slices, the guy working charges me for the 2 slices & just makes the one slice. I go up to grab it for my daughter & he looks at me & said oh you ordered another slice to & I said yes, he had forgot to put it in with my daughter's slice, my daughter is eating & I'm waiting like over 10 minutes for a slice you just stick in the oven & reheat it. Bad experience #2 went in there this evening with my daughter & my friend & her daughter again the tables were disgustingly dirty, cleaned the table myself with a wet wipe, went & ordered a slice for my daughter, didn't call it out, didn't give me any napkins & then my friend goes & orders & he provided her with great customer service, even asked her if she wanted her kids slice sliced into quarter slices instead of half, gave her plenty of napkins. I don't understand why my friend got great customer service & I didn't. Your pizza isn't even really that good it's just a convient location to grab a cheap slice of pizza with a very unkept dining area & I guess they think they are good enough that they can pick & chose who gets decent customer service. Your pizza isn't the best. Your dining area is filthy & from my experience your customer service towards me was horrible as I watched the server serve my friend the same way he should be serving every paying customer. Thanks for making my last 2 visits my last 2 visits. You're just a little pizza hole downtown London with a rating of 3.8 stars & I can totally see why. Your customer service sucks because you obviously chose who gets proper customer service as I seen it with my own 2 eyes. Your pizza is mediocre & your dining area is filthy just like downtown London. You will not get my business for the 3rd time that's for sure! My 2 last visits I was made to feel extremely uncomfortable if you don't think I noticed how nicely you served my friend after serving me I did & that is the last time I will be made to feel uncomfortable in a dirty pizza joint with mediocre pizza. Did you treat my friend better because her daughter is white... NEVER AGAIN! In fact I remember coming in one time without my biracial daughter & the same delinquent that served me this evening served me when I went in without my biracial daughter & I was provided decent customer service. Doesn't look good on you at all & I have never been in such a dirty restaurant & now I definitely suspect racism from the bald white guy with the glasses. Not...
Read moreA new Cousin Vinny's opened in mine and my husband's neighbourhood recently and being big pizza lovers we were pretty excited. We had tried pizza from the Richmond location years ago but couldn't remember if it was any good. We placed our order and were told it would be ready in 25 minutes. Eager, we kept watch of the time and made sure we showed up 25 minutes later at the store. We live not too far from the restaurant so the drive home was short. When we got home the pizza looked like it had been thrown together, like it had been sitting for quite some time and there was a topping missing from the pizza. We had ordered a combo which meant it also came with 2 dips, 2 cans of pop and wings. The wings were very 'meh' - I honestly prefer grocery store wings you throw in the oven - and they gave us the wrong dips (we ordered one garlic and one cheese jalapeno but we got two ranch). We also ordered a side of jalapeno poppers and they were pretty good, but all in all for the quality of the food and the fact that with tip we paid $50 it was absolutely not worth the money. A grocery store pizza or even Little Caesars would have been better. The gentleman at the store was kind and gave us free cheesy garlic bread as another customer had cancelled their order. I could have easily made better garlic bread myself but the gesture was very kind. Overall a 2/5 for me given the high cost compared to the very low quality. We are really sad as we were hoping this would be our new regular pizza joint. Looks like we will be sticking with Dominos.
Edit: while I have not ordered a custom order from Cousin Vinnys I have gone back and tried their slices and I am a big fan of those. 11:30-11:45am is the best time to go as the slices are fresh. Happy to be a return customer...
Read moreMy brother once gone here a long time ago, and it has always been like this since then. He bought pizza from them, and he had a bad stomach ache. It is not clean telling how they often open their windows and doors all day from dust to dawn exposing for insects and other containments coming in their business. After that, my brother will never stepped in, and even they use to have the Adelaide Street (North) location between Fanshawe Park Road and Sunningdale Road passed HomeDepot hardware store and Sobey’s grocery store. If I read the people’s reviews then why would I go here? People (Customers) do not have to spend their money they worked hard for to get low quality pizza while they can go to Domino’s or Pizza Hut. I don’t mind spending an extra few dollars to go pay for better quality pizza. Every time I passed by here, it is always smells like urine and dirty along with the homeless people around there. Hygienes plays a role when it comes to food. There are better pizza shops around London, Ontario. No offence, speaking the facts here. My brother got food poisoning here before. I don’t want to be the next person or anyone who had food poisoning to come here. Worst feeling and you will be rushing to the nearest available toilet as you can. It has always look dirty just by looking how they leave their windows and doors open during the summer months. Do not spend a $0.01 at this business. Would not recommend here. Save your money for better quality, thank me later. I would rather go to Boston Pizza restaurant at the Hyde Park area of London, Ontario than here. Even the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would not eat here, too. Stay away...
