Dunnville Deli & Snack Bar — Restaurant in Ontario

$110.00 (no including tip)for a 4 adults and 2kids under 5 is ridiculous!!! Sorry I will go down the street to McDonalds for $20. Place is a rip off!! Only 1 person cooking and waiting on the tables. There needs to be an another person looking after the tables and someone else cooking. We waited a long time for our food to arrive and other dishes showed up another 10 mins after. Some dishes didn’t even get their toast.. I was already done before other people got their food. This place is not for large families and other tables that are full. The guy cooking was very friendly. If you not in a hurry and want to wait an hour for your table to get their food then this place is for you…not to mention good luck getting a coffee refill. Another thing, kids should not be the last to receive their food, they should be the first.All the adults were done eating and then they kids received their pancakes ( tasted sour 3 mini pancakes and 2 stripes of bacon $ 10) They need to get a kids menu. I’m sorry if it seems like I’m piling on and being negative but this is my honest take...

I feel bad writing this because the man who was working and owned this place was a very kindly older gentleman who if in other circumstances would never have anything negative to sday but the food was under cooked the bacon was so small portioned thinner then I've ever seen any bacon cut sausage was ok but under cooked homefries under cooked flavourless coffee wasn't anything special served black with sugar and a little cup of cream at table then he without asking fills our cups with the end of the pot which I felt bad for not drinking until he charged me for 4 3 dollar coffees more then any other place with good coffee and it came to 45 dollars for two of us and there was nobody else there I understood why before I left and when I went to pay it had an automatic lowest option tip of 15% as he watched while;e I paid I was furious but because it was father's day and the fact he was an older friendly gentleman I smiled and let him rip me off for absolute garbage...

This is the worse place you will ever eat. The owner is very nice and courteous, so I feel bad saying it... but it is true. The quality of the food is abysmal. They serve "chicken shnitzel" sandwiches on a d'alessio sausage bun from the food basics, and it is a 1 inch wide by 4 inches long sliver of a piece of breaded chicken (not schnitzel). If you choose to dine here, you better have time. This isn't a standard restaurant where they have food prep done and good service. This is a dude that will prepare a sub par meal for you once you arrive and it will be much over an hour before you are gone, even for lunch. The good reviews are left by people that are friends or locals that feel bad. This is not a recommended spot and honestly I recommend avoiding it. I feel bad because the guy is nice, but nobody should pay money...
