Five Guys — Restaurant in Ontario

When I moved to London in 2017, Five Guys was one of the first burger outlets I went to. I remember not liking the food and never went back. I’ve come a long way since then and heard more good things than bad about this chain. I felt it was right to go back.

Today, I went to the one on Wellington Rd. and Bradley Ave. near the Farm Boy. I got a regular size pop and cheeseburger with three toppings: raw onions, mustard, and grilled mushrooms. It had two beef patties and a lot of American-style cheese, as they call it. I really, really liked it. This will get an 8.7/10. In fact, I liked it so much that I ordered another cheeseburger with different toppings.

My second cheeseburger had a different set of toppings. These were hot sauce, mustard, and grilled onions. It tasted just as good, maybe better. The hot sauce added kick but not overwhelmingly. I’ll give it a 9/10.

Cheeseburgers here cost $11.99 and have 980 calories.

It's really unfortunate that this location has really gone down hill. Ive been eating at five guys for 15 years since they first opened in Canada. Ive eaten at dozen different locations over that time. Ive always been extremely satisfied every time Ive eaten five guys. Recently especially the location the quality of the food is not up to par with the other locations in the country. The food tastes completely different. The burgers don't have as much flavour and not as juicy. The fries extremely salty and over cooked. Many of the times the fries actually taste bitter. The fact that this is five guys and food is so expensive here, I expect it be amazing every time. I shouldn't have to complain or give any feedback. This is not McDonalds. Why does the food here taste so much worse than even the other London north location. I definitely won't be returning to this location. If I want proper five guys I'll just go to the other London north location. Why waste my money and...

Ordered burger one patty and fries! I had to watch to make sure they did it right and good thing I did. I ordered triple fried onions and they already had made it with not enough onions and they weren’t even cooked! So had to watch them when they re - made it. This time they did it right. Didn’t like the fries . The last time I was there it was way better. Now different employees that aren’t as attentive. Was better before I think they changed the way they make the fries My friend didn’t care for his burger or fries. Probably won’t be back!. Very expensive for burgers and fries!. He had a strawberry shake which he loved with his meal.Close to $50 for two. Free peanuts but even they were stale. The chairs are hard as rock could never eat in due to that.
