Forte Resto-Lounge offers a stylish, laid-back atmosphere that’s ideal for a casual night out. With simple yet tasteful decor, the ambiance was one of the highlights—modern, cozy, and welcoming.

The Food: The standout dish was definitely the duck wings. They were perfectly cooked, with a crispy skin and a flavorful, rich taste that really impressed. On the other hand, the poutine was overly salty, which took away from what could have been a more balanced dish. Overall, the food was good but not great; while there were some strong flavors, certain dishes didn’t fully deliver on taste.

The Service: The service was average. While the staff was polite, there were a few hiccups that affected our experience. Our order was taken incorrectly, and throughout the meal, the server asked a series of rushed, almost impatient questions. It left us with the impression that they wanted to turn over the table quickly rather than let us enjoy our time.

Overall Impression: Forte Resto-Lounge is a solid choice for its atmosphere, with a simple, well-done interior that makes for an enjoyable setting. The food is decent, though it could use some fine-tuning, and the service is good but could be more attentive. It’s a place I might consider visiting again for the ambiance and those duck wings, but with hopes for a more refined overall experience.

This was our first visit to the Forte resto-lounge and we were not disappointed. We had reservations and our table was ready upon our arrival. We had a wonderful server who was 5 star. I wish I could remember her name as she deserves the recognition. She was simply excellent in all aspects of service delivery; professional and engaging, while ensuring we had a great dining experience. We started with the lobster rolls and brie/pear appetizers. They were both generous portions, which we did not finish and took home. But they were delicious. We ordered the special 10 oz NY Steak with Scallops and the Lobster Ravioli that come with a 4 oz Lobster Tail. Wow, they were both excellent and prepared perfectly. We love coming here when we are in town and are so happy we found this place - there’s nothing else around with this type of vibe. The atmosphere is perfect for a fun date night, cocktails and starters at the bar, or an intimate dinner. The food has always been very tasty - we get the facoccia bread and dumplings to start every time. The menu is relatively diverse and they have nightly specials. It’s obvious they use high quality ingredients and have experienced kitchen staff. Service is on point - we’ve been fortunate to have Sam serve us many times - she’s very knowledgeable and attentive, with a great personality as well.
