We were asked in side or out we chose in because we have a baby and turns out not air conditioned nor is there a breeze. And then we ordered water and it was warm water in 1.97 cup from a cheap pitcher (the stickers were still on it) and we ordered two apps and 2kids meals and our 2 meals a ny steak and an abc sandwich. We got our apps and the kids food after 20 mins and we ate and after 45 mins and seeing the waitress one more time when she gave us more warm water we got our food but by that point both the kids ate there food and were cranky from the heat so we had to take the food to go and the waitress gave a half hearted apology and said I will take of the apps and Proceeded to take one app off and it came to 95 dollars and she was rude when we paid. It was not at all a good service. Will never go back. Also their chimichurry sauce was 2 dollars it came in a plastic container and was 2 dollars for 2oz of it. The food: Apps Burchetta - it was alright didn’t taste to bad made right but found a hair in it Halloumi cheese - they deep fried it put honey on the bottom of the plate and spinkled chili flakes on it. It tasted ok Kids grill cheeses - son said they were ok but fries came ice cold. Gravy for sones fries was ok Steak - was $25 and it was cooked unevenly one side was almost raw and the other side was barely medium and the potatoes were burnt ABC sandwich- it was alright don’t feel the apple slices fit on it and the chicken was dry and there was barely sauce on it the fries that came with it tasted like avarage fries

First time here, found it on maps on the way home from a trip to Port Stanley and I can see we are so happy we came. Quaint place, rustic and the proper volume music playing. Our server Josh was the best. He knows his stuff, answered all our questions and when we chose his favourites on our own the smile was the indication we made the right choice. The Halumi cheese appetizer was out of this world. Perfectly done Halumi cheese with mixed greens, warm honey and chili flakes. A must if you eat here. The Garden bowl salad was a bomb of flavours. Tahini, balsamic vinaigrette roasted brussel sprouts, quinoa, sauteed chick peas on a bed of mixed greens. Phenomenal. The GOAT burger with potato and bacon soup was also excellent. Pink centre and the soup was definitely homemade. To finish it off the Carrot cake. Vegan and you could not tell. Everyone was fantastic and we will be back.

Our visit to the Garden on King exceeded all of our expectations. Every once in a while you come upon a place that it a little get. This is one of them, Visiting Chatham we were looking for a place to have something to eat a little later in the evening. We decided to go for a walk along King St to see what was there. We came upon The Garden on King and decided to give it a try. The patio at the back was spacious and had a great view of the Thames. The food was great. The summer salad was nicely put together and the strawberry vinaigrette gave it great flavour. We ordered a small charcuterie board... thank goodness. It was huge. It included a variety of meats, cheeses, olives, crackers and grapes. The presentation was a work of art. They were short staffed, and quite busy. The wait staff kept things moving as best as possible. Amazing food. A great evening! Lovely location.

My wide ordered chicken fingers for dinner to take out as she works down the street from the Garden as she often does. When she got the chicken it was raw and the fries were also under cooked and still raw. So I took the food back for her to show the server as my wife was now with a client. I tried to be polite and not show the food infront of other customers as I know mistakes can happen and wasn't overly mad about it just wanted it resolved and for my wife to be able to eat. As I showed the waitress my food she said oh my I am so sorry, that should have never been served to you, let me get the manager to make this right! After 10mins the owner chris came over to me and told me that the chicken is fine and that's how they cook their fries! I told him the chicken is pink and slimey, he told me it's cooked to temp and there's nothing wrong with it... told me he would give me my money back, but never come back to his restaurant! He was very unprofessional and went as far as calling my wife's boss to tell her I'm to never pick up food for them... safe to say that won't be an issue bc I'll never eat there again! He's going to make...

I had made reservations online but when I arrived there was no one around and a sign to seat yourself. I found a table out on the patio and sat there almost 10 minutes before someone approached my table. He came back with menus but never offered to open up the umbrella. I was waiting on others to see what they wanted. We waited for some time before being served. Again no offer for the umbrella, which I found very odd. We were fine with it down but an offer would have been nice. Our food took a while to arrive and it wasn't overly hot. The portions were sufficient. We weren't brought any condiments so there was no salt or pepper on the table. We were almost finished our meals when the waitress returned to the table so by that time is was too late to ask for anything. She came by after we were done and took our dirty dishes. Again it took some time for her to come back with our bills then to return with the debit machine. I was a little disappointed since I have seen so many posts on Facebook on this restaurant and really...
