Hasbeans Ltd. — Restaurant in Ontario

A lovely location to pick up a morning cup or so I had thought. Previously I had enjoyed the service experience from Joel and Faye. Today I thought to invite some coworkers and let them in on the secret. Unfortunately today we were met with a very unpleasant lady (short dark hair with green died streaks). I had only asked about the daily coffee schedule and was abruptly met with “I’m not going to tell you my schedule. Only loyal regular customers get that from me.” I was then scolded for not tipping after not even being given an option to tip on the credit machine. I’m not interested in tipping poor for service let alone someone who feels entitled to a tip just for being at work. For reference when I do visit establishments that have good pleasant employees such as Joel and Faye. Always more than happy to support local business especially ones in my favorite market however I will not entertain an entitled an upsetting demeanor from any establishment…. Even if the toasted coconut coffee is good. I had also discovered as my coworker has a dairy intolerance that milk alternatives are at an extra cost. This is my no. 1 favourite coffee stop in London! I love it here.

I’ve been getting my coffee beans and daily lattes here for a little over a decade and it’s only been getting better. The croissants 🥐 are 😙👌chef’s kiss, I dream about starting every day with their croissants. Crispy, chewy, flaky, they get it right every time.

If you didn’t already know, the cookies here are the biggest and chewiest you’ll find downtown 🍪🍪🍪🍪.

Joel and Annie are absolute darlings, they always go out of their way, treat me like gold and nourish my soul with a little humour to start the day, and set me up for success with the coffee I need to get through this life.

Not to mention—-The lattes have been next level velvety smooth and so dreamy since they upgraded their machine this past winter, and added flavours from 1883. They even let me tryout new latte flavours before they launch which is standard royal treatment 👸 (I recently tried Rose 🌹 Latte and it is everything I didn’t know I needed for spring).

A new discovery for me but I am so happy to have decided to come by! A friend of mine suggested that I take a trip out to the market and stop by Hasbeans as I was looking for local roasters in the area. By far one of the best customer experiences I've had and I have been returning steadily since! Everytime I go I am greated by such welcoming staff who take the time to answer my questions and provide very solid recommendations! No matter how busy, I have always been asked about my brewing methods and provided with great recommendations accordingly!

I have tried several different beans the past few months all of which have been great! Though thanks to the staff I have settled on my all time favourite being the Black Java!
