Hurry Curry - Tecumseh Mall — Restaurant in Ontario

I went to get some food to the tecumseh location on July 8 near 4:00 pm. The Indian girl with the spectacles who works there seriously has some issues. She has a lot of attitude ( don’t know for what reason ) and really negative vibes. Did not greet at all. No hello , no smile whatsoever. She took my order with a lot of arrogance as if she was forced to work there and is working for free. She very rudely told me that they will charge extra for a sauce which is very uncertain as I get food from this place every week and they don’t charge for a small sauce. Sauce is a very petty thing , but the issue was with how she talked. I asked her name which she did not provide and called the owner on the phone to let me know that there is charge for the sauce ( how petty and shallow is this ???? ) I talked the owner ( the owner rashmi was nice and friendly ) and she told this girl to not charge for sauce. Even after that she had too much arrogance which is why I cancelled my order and told her that I am cancelling it because of how rude and unwelcoming her attitude was. Don’t work in customer service if you do not have the right skills. Stay home and keep this attitude...

I had a difficult time hearing and understanding the young lady taking my order. When she repeated my order to the cook through the window..I asked if I could pay and sit while I waited for the food to be prepared. I had my daughters with me and did not want to leave them alone. She told me she could only punch in my order but she was not aloud to handle cash and that I had to wait for the cook to take me cash. After 15 mins of standing and waiting at the register..the cook came out (no gloves) took the money and went back into the kitchen. I know your thinking (he could have taken gloves off in the kitchen and put knew ones on.) No...I saw his hands through the window handing his worker the food. So this guy is handling food and cash. (Grose) I finally get my butter chicken and the chicken it's as tough as the leather sole of someone shoe. I couldn't chew it. The flavor of the sauce was fine but a little runny. The only thing fresh and decent was the plain Nann bread. I paid $20 for butter chicken, plain Nann and a canned beverage. Total...

I had a veg thali which had shahi paneer, palak paneer (they specially made for me ), chhole, salad, yogurt and a delicious hot gulab jamun 😋 along with tasty 2 naans. For me 1 person, it was a lot, my stomach was full lol. On the top of the food, the great customer service, what else I need.. 😀 I had interaction with 2 of the staff members named Neha and Davneet, both were awesome and hardworking. They made my day by their food and kind heart since they made special palak paneer for me 💜 . More in depth, Neha one of two staff members she said that I was special guest for them which was heartwarming for me because along with the food if someone treats you with their kindness then it's a bonus, I felt lucky being there. I am pretty sure the owners are also nice because that's how they got nice people to manage the place. Lots of love for Neha and Davneet! Rocking hurry curry, tecumseh mall, Windsor!
