We headed to Brockville specifically for Sweet Ofelia yesterday and I'm glad we did. Even though it was late in the day, Annie whipped up a new batch of whipped cream and the fruit sando I got was delicious. I would literally drive down again just for that. They carry Little Jo Berry's products (café in Westboro/Ottawa) and that means gluten-free desserts! Shelves and freezers are stocked with a wide variety of products, from frozen noodle bowls to collectable pop cans to various types of mochi. They carry candies I haven't been able to find in Ottawa, as well as products from other local businesses, such as Merrickville Cookies. Celiac folks: there's gluten-free milk bread 👀 This place is something Brockville has needed for a very long time and I hope to watch it grow and continue to be a part of this community.

I was finally able to make it to this cafe, and it was worth the wait! I walked up to the door 15 minutes before opening time. I went to go back to wait in my car and a young lady happily opened the door to invite me in, which was so accommodating. All of the food was fresh and looked delicious! I brought my son, and he picked out some goodies. We had a croissant and 2 sandwiches, the chicken Bahn mi and the turkey club. There was a fantastic pesto sauce on my club that I will be craving from now on. It was very clean too. I will be back!

The food is very good as is the service. Try the Japanese egg salad sandwich, it was delicious! I was less impressed with the bubble tea. Though my kids like it, I'm not a fan. No real fruit in the smoothie, everything comes from powder (which from other reviews I see is powdered fruit). Way too sweet and tasted nothing like the fruit it was named after unfortunately. The popping pearls are a fun treat! I have also bought suprise bags with the app Too Good To Go from this location. It was full of all sorts of new things to try!

Where do I even begin with this gem? The staff are what start off the amazing experience. An immediate sing-songy "hello" from Annie and Sydni will always put a massive smile on your face, even on hard days. Then the atmosphere hits you: the whole team is happily working along, the café music plays, the food smells wonderful. You're transported far away from Brockville to Korea, Thailand, France, or even Newfoundland.

You grab one of their signature sandwiches (a tofu bahn mi, because I’m cool like that), order a bubble tea, peruse the grocery section, and fight the urge to purchase one of everything. Finally, you grab a seat on their cute little patio and enjoy the spoils of your haul. Hands down, it’s my favorite spot in town and always makes for the perfect start...

This place is special. The second you walk in you are greeted with a vibrant atmosphere and market filled with a carefully curated inventory filled with both locally sourced and imported goods and treats. The coffee bar is always filled with mouth-watering sandwiches, baked goods, and rotating dishes that keep every visit interesting. (there are also tons of options for vegan and gf customers!) But it's also what's behind the coffee bar that makes this cafe truly special. Annie, Sydni, and the team are sincerely dedicated to fostering an environment that promotes positivity, inclusivity, and community and I am grateful for all they do for their...
