[français ci-après] Among the Ontario towns that I visited, this one is one of the most ― if not the most ― beautiful. With these pictures, I’m trying to explain a bit why. Walking in the streets of the older town, there is always a noticeable concern for harmony, even in the occasional modest facades.

Ineffective, confusion, no clarity are all words I can with certain describe BROCKVILLE CITY HALL. They seem out of touch with the fact that so many people are struggling- that's if you don't come from old money, are retired, or are financially well off. Homeless is bad drugs are coming into town worse than ever police force is ineffective. The city council is a joke, I mean that literally as we are a town that has been in decline for 30 years now and yes the economy hasn't been the same since but Brockville is stuck in its ways and until some fresh ideas are brought to the table the city hall will be run by the same parasites that are happy cushioned on a steady job with no worries but to make themselves look good. Brockville is the kind of place to retire, we have alot of old money but the lines within the social classes couldn't be any clearer. Some places you go to it's blurry but Brockville is far from that. And people wonder why the kids like to cause trouble and why they are struggling it's cause there isn't anything keeping them occupied or lack of things to do. When the working class get off work say 4 or 5 there's no night life because places close by 6 or 7. The restaurants are subpar at best. Downtown is not vibrant tourists may feel it's a cozy place and it's beautiful but Brockville just looks like a grey rundown hellhole Especially all along KING ST. If people vote the same scummy no care politicians into office Brockville is just gonna run into more disrepair. It's an eyesore just as much as...

We live on Meighen Crescent the Number is 9. Since March 19 , 2015 we have had a large amount of Water settle on the sidewalk in front of our home. After each rainfall the amount of water takes longer to subside. We have had Plumbers here three times for sewar backup which we have paid for and now I would like the city to return calls. this sidewalk requires maintenance so water does not sit for days in front of our Home. I have left messages but As of Yet have not heard from the Party responsible to fix this...

Taxes are too high and you get nothing. No response from council members. You are allowed one bag of garbage. Then you have to put grass clippings in the regular trash. A drug dealer lives in the neighbourhood. No response from bylaw complaints that I submitted. Good bye and good riddance I...
