Horrible experience. Felt lied to about wait times from the front door staff, and ignored by the waitress.

The wife and I explained we had tickets for across the street at Budweiser Gardens. We were told that wouldn't be a problem. It was. By the time we were served we had to leave.

I paid for food that we did not get to eat. We took it across the street and were told we had to throw it out as there is no outside food.

The wife tried to call the restaurant to speak to someone. After nearly an hour of the phone just ringing, someone answered and and very rudely said the manager is not there and there is nothing they can or will do about this, then she hung up and Noone would answer again.

Update Aug 25 2022: Wife finally got through to someone and after explaining the situation was told she should have called the day this happened.

When it was re-explanded that she did and what transpired she was bluntly and rudely told that there was nothing, and is nothing they are willing to do, with a very sarcastic sorry..

At this point I will never step foot in here again, I will never recommend this restaurant except...

I ordered the bacon and blue cheese burger and asked for an extra piece of bacon to be added as I had noticed that they only put one strip on the burger on a previous visit. Shamelessly the server informed me that they could not add a strip but would gladly provide a side dish of 5 strips to compliment my burger order at a cost of $8.00. In other words I was forced to pay for a side order of bacon to satisfy my request for 1 strip to be added to my burger. When I inquired why I had to pay for an entire side order of bacon the waitress told me that it was how their chef priced the menu and how a request for extra bacon was available. This has got to be one of the most rediculous and absurd pricing strategies I have encountered in any restaurant. Nickel and Dime hustlers is what the owners and the Chef here are. They do not think much of the intelligence of their customers or they just do not care. If this was the last place to sell bacon on Earth I would never go back. Updated: Reduced to one star from an original rating of 2/5 stars for failing to address...

Pros: Great atmosphere, wouldn’t be out of place in Tampa or Santa Monica Lots of lighting Amazing, sincere service Clean - somebody takes pride in making sure things are neat and tidy Spacious

Cons The food seems dated The burger was average, unseasoned. If it was made from scratch there was very little to no seasoning on it, overpriced for what it was. I don’t feel there was an adequate amount of toppings on the burger for the price Thick cut fries are notoriously difficult to pull off and they sadly missed the mark. The fries were somewhat crispy on the outside but just tasted like a fire roasted potato on the inside. If they used the same technique and cut normal sized fries it would be fantastic

I think if they brought in a food scientist or professional chef for a few months to modernize the menu this place could be amazing. Clearly people are willing to pay but they might not be willing to come back unless the...

This place is great! Very friendly staff, and a cozy atmosphere. They have local craft brews available, as well as the classics. It's a wonderful location, just across from both the Covent Garden Market and Budweiser Gardens, in the heart of London. Every time I stop by I always make sure to get an order of their bacon wrapped scallops (as pictured) and they are so So delicious! I love them so much I eat the kale garnish underneath because the bacon has dripped on to it. They do serve it with a lemon wedge and a sauce, my advise is to just use the lemon, the sauce is good but these babies stand wonderfully on their own. Great place, good music, fun times with friends in an accessible location with amazing food. What's not to like? 5 stars

This is my second time eating at this place, and I have to say, it is quite good. The French onion soup is the best I have tasted in London so far. It doesn't feel as if the plate was blasted in the microwave. It was loaded with well caramelized onions. The cheese felt like the soup itself actually melted it. The classic burger was a pleasant surprise. Unlike chain restaurants like the works, this actually had the most home made feel to it. Though, in my opinion, could use a bit more salt. Otherwise an pretty good burger. Altogether, I would have rated this place a solid 3.5 out of 5.
