Latin Restaurant El Milagro — Restaurant in Ontario

I went on a wednesday night with my girlfriend and we had such a wonderful time! it was just us dining in and people were in and out for takeout. it was around valentines so the decorations were really nice and the music was wonderful and it wasn’t to loud at all! we had a nice younger gentleman serve us and the drinks tasted oh so great! alcoholic and nonalcoholic as well! i had a horchata which is a drink made with rice, cinnamon, and sugar. It tasted amazing! my girlfriend had a jarrito which is almost like a frutopia! it also tasted really good and fruity! we then got to pick from the big menus with so many options, the food was fantastic and the service was amazing! tried a lot of different foods from tacos, and empanadas, to arepas and enchiladas! it was all so so good and filling! we had to bring food home in takeout boxes. my favourite was the beef tacos i had! my girlfriend really enjoyed her berria tacos as well as berria concime noodles. ive never seen the noodles in the concime before but it went so well together. Update: Ordered again because they have happy hour on Uber eats, and it was still pretty mid. The rice was basically flavourless and unseasoned again and the tacos were just okay. Between Victoria Latina and Hot Tacos, it’s recommended either of those for the best tacos. 👌

Ordered a tamale, enchiladas and tacos de pollo on Uber eats and it was a bit lacking, which was disappointing given the rave reviews. 😢 the tamale fell apart when I looked at it but did taste perfect, the enchiladas were decent but mostly bland, and the tacos were pretty bland and considering I don’t like spicy food, the pico sauce I was given wasn’t an option so one-note, cheese with chicken-taste was it. The beans were too salty but the rice was basically tasteless so eating them together, luckily, made them more palatable. 😂🤦‍♀️ Overall, pretty lacklustre - maybe I caught them on an off night. 🤷‍♀️ I’ll just stick with my usual Victoria Latina because everything always comes...

Very unimpressed with this restaurant. I love Latin/Mexican foods and was excited to try this place. We ordered the tacos with rice and beans and they tasted so bland, hardly any flavor. And also ordered the birria tacos with birria Ramen. We ordered all of the food at the same time and the tacos came out first. We ate them and thought that the birria and Ramen would be out right after, but it wasn't. By the time we had finished the tacos and were full and ready to leave, I waved the waitress down and asked her about the birria and Ramen and she went back to the kitchen to grab it. We were already full so just asked for a to-go container. All in all, we were very unimpressed and will not be returning or suggesting for anyone else...
