I recently visited this Chinese restaurant and ordered the fried chicken rice. To my disappointment, it only had two small pieces of chicken and no egg at all. The vegetables in the dish were just a few carrots and peas. I decided to bring this up to the owner, but instead of addressing the issue, she raised her voice and told me that if I wasn't sure it was the right dish, I should ask, and that this was how they made their rice. Eventually, they refunded my money, but the overall experience was very unprofessional and disappointing. I won’t be coming back. However, the message on the fortune cookie was spot on: "Stand up for what you believe in, even if it’s not popular." And I stand by my decision to share this feedback.

If your craving western style Chinese food, this certainly is a decent choice. You won't find the typical Chinese foods, rather, a version that has been modified such that it suits a different palate. The fried chicken rice for instance, the chicken would've normally been separately sauteed versus blanched. So the flavor profile is certainly different here. Otherwise, food is still ok. Probably a bit healthier too. Atmosphere is modern. Not much of a sit in with only a table or two, but certainly ok for a quick take out.

Really good! I ordered, then checked the reviews and worried that the food might not be good. But I was totally happy with what I ordered. I got the Seafood Pad Thai. It was mild (I like mild) and very flavorful, very good. Seafood was crab sticks, shrimp, and big scallops, all cooked perfectly. The serving was enormous, if I was at home I would buy this and make several small lunches or dinners (I generally don't eat a lot at a time). I'm traveling though, so I stuffed myself silly. Yum!

Nice, clean, elegant Chinese food spot. A run of the mill kind of spot though, have tried a variety of their dishes and personally didn’t experience anything spectacular… that being said the portions are good, packaging is nice, this place will cure your craving for Chinese but definitely don’t recommend the chicken fried rice as it was a bit lacklustre as well as the sweet n sour chicken balls which are staples that must be gotten right which this place missed the mark for me… opt for noodles, vegetables and Chicken chow mein instead!! Now those are definitely worth your time. Anyhow this deserves 3.5 stars overall but I’ll give a 4.. as the food is good but not rock your socks off good and the price for a combo platter is fair at around $14 in portion size and packaging. Not a bad place for a quick grab n go but Island Delight 🏝️ is a much more authentic taste who do their staples right like no other despite being a little pricier.. Either way I would recommend this place and I’m happy another Chinese Food establishment is being supported in Brockville where your choices are quite limited since the main buffet in the mall has been eradicated. ** Discount for paying cash is also a very nice touch! Any business who supports cash transactions are a winner...

This is food court style Chinese food but with better quality ingredients. The food deserves a 3.5, its top end for its category but I just can't give non-homemade food four stars although everything tasted fine. The extra .5 points I gave it for the review are due to the VERY impressive portions, the containers are about 30% bigger than other takeout containers and the "filler" that Chinese restaurants in particular tend to line the bottoms with (i.e. broccoli) was close to non-existent. The mushroom soo guy was the iffy dish, the gravy was hoisin sauce-flavoured and not everybody liked it. The sesame chicken and general Tao chicken were basically indistinguishable from each other other than that the gen Tao was a bit spicy, which was disappointing, it felt like we ordered double of the same dish. All in all nothing about the experience stood out other than the portion sizes, the food tasted good but forgettable, but the location is great and everybody still liked the food even though it wasn't amazing. We will...

The lady taking orders very rude, very rushed my colleague was looking at the menu which honestly was 2 minutes and the lady said "you don't know what you want come back later". I got customer outside" due to maximum capacity of 3 and there were 3 of us ordering. I understand the need to serve other customers but worry about the customer in front of you first! Second I ordered lemon chicken thinking it would be the traditional way any restaurant serves it with lemon sauce on nugget form chicken. This restaurant repurposed some other style chicken, looked like chicken breast battered fried hard exterior shell cut in diagonal cuts to "dip" in lemon sauce or what is supposed to be lemon sauce? I don't know for sure as it tasted like dish soap. Needless to say won't return and if you want to be treated properly and given what you ordered go somewhere else I know I'll...
