My better half and I have probably been to over 200 coffee shops ALL OVER the WORLD, (Italy, Spain, France, Mexico, Australia, United States, Brazil) and we have enjoyed coffee at many different places…but sometimes we find ourselves saying things like….(if so and so is working the coffee is great, OR they are good at this or that) BUT we have NEVER been able to say….The COFFEE and treats at one single coffee shop are CONSISTENTLY EXCELLENT until NOW. We have visited Mark IV Brothers Coffee in Orillia 4 times in the last 2 weeks and EVERY time the coffee has been HOT, FRESH, BALANCED, and DELICIOUS….EVERY SINGLE TIME….regardless of what we order or who is working. This is BY FAR the best coffee we have EVER had, and it’s right here in Sleepy little Orillia. We hope they are here to stay, they are INCREDIBLE! Absolutely a MUST TRY if you are truly a coffee connoisseur! 10/10 17/02/2022 Visited today…and noted this establishment is one of a very few businesses that cares enough to make sure the ice has been cleared from their sidewalks. You have to respect a place like this, that clearly cares about their customers….AND “YES”….the coffee is still AMAZING!!!

Tucked away on a quiet street, this coffee shop is a hidden gem. From the moment you step inside, the warm, inviting atmosphere wraps around you like a cozy blanket. The decor is charming and rustic, with wooden tables, soft lighting. The staff is incredibly friendly and clearly passionate about their craft, making you feel at home with every visit. As for the coffee, it’s nothing short of exceptional. Each cup is brewed to perfection, with a rich, smooth flavor that’s neither too bitter nor too sweet. Whether you're meeting friends, catching up on work, or simply enjoying some downtime, this place has the perfect vibe. It’s the kind of spot where you can linger for hours, soaking up the atmosphere with a good book or some relaxed conversation. Highly recommend for anyone in search of a perfect coffee experience!

I enjoyed the coffee they served us, HOWEVER, when I asked the gentleman to recommend a coffee bean to take home, he recommended one of their most expensive coffee ($25 for 227g) from Brazil. Upon purchasing, I did not see a roast date on the bag so I went back and asked him. He then took the bag and placed the date on it with a marker (to 5 days prior). I have my own espresso machine at home and enjoy buying different beans and experimenting. This bean was terrible (he said it’s from the award winning barista). But I genuinely believe this coffee was too old (definitely not 5 day old roast)!!!! I could not extract any flavour out of it but bitterness no matter how many times I changed my settings. I really did not appreciate this at all. Even though the coffee we had there was very nice, I would not return.

The expansive range of coffee/espresso based beverages offered here is absolutely phenomenal. Everything I have tried so far has been fantastic. The service is great and the atmosphere is equally so.

I have tried almost all the other shops in Orillia and area that offer espresso based beverages as well as coffee, none of them match the quality found at MK IV Brothers.

The beans are ground right before the coffee is brewed for all their beverages, this makes the biggest difference when it comes to the full-bodied flavour you expect from your cup of coffee at a Cafe of this caliber.

I can go on for hours regarding how much I love this place, but I do not think writing a short story for a review would be appropriate.

All I can say is, I wish I could give six stars.

Thank you MK IV Brothers for having the best...
