Mary's Place — Restaurant in Ontario

If I had written a review for Mary's Place a year ago, it would have been 5 stars hands down. When I came here before on my 1 hour lunch, I was able to get in, order, eat, pay, and get back to work in time.

However, I went here last week with maybe 2-6 customers already in and waited 5 minutes to get my drink order taken (no big deal). At this point, the server wouldn't take my food order saying she'd just take that when she dropped off the drink. 10 minutes later I get my drink and make my food order. 10 minutes later I get my food which was excellent but at this point it was 12:40 and I had to pound it back. I get to the till to pay and im standing there for a solid 8-10 minutes before someone comes up to ring my order in.

This place is fine if you aren't on a time limit, but the wait staff are way way slower than they used to be so its not an ideal lunch spot...

My husband and I go to Mary's Place about every two weeks and have done so for about a year. We have tried other breakfast restaurants and like Mary's Place the best. I like a BLT and have certain standards that I like to be met, such as: Crispy bacon that isn't greasy, a nice fresh tomato and crispy lettuce, all in a neat sandwich. Mary's Place does this perfectly in my opinion. The coffee is tasty also. The waitresses are attentive and friendly. They try to get to your table as soon as you sit down and ask for your beverage order. The food, once ordered comes in a timely manner. Hubby likes their Toasted Western with Home Fries. Ordered food from skip had had fake picture for French toast forgot to give syrup with the order then to top it off I called they said nothing they can do and skip refused to help as well. Calling me out because I call out mistakes and bad quality is funny. firstly I have given more 5 stars then 1 and if you took a second to see my complaints you would see valid. Most of the issues are refusal to actual work or poor quality. You did both its sad you you are to shady to put real pictures of your food and even more sad you cant include items that where selected with it.
