Awful customer service.
Don't order here using the McDonald's app or seek help when they screw up your order.
Tried to purchase through the App July 12, ordering a breakfast that included an item received through the awards program. Asked at the drive-through window if they included the extra item that I had earned and ordered through my awards, was told they had, but when I arrived home, it was missing. I phoned right away, was promised a coupon would be mailed out July 15.
When nothing had been received by July 26, I phoned a second time. The first employee I spoke to claimed there was no record of me calling in the 12th. I then phone an hour later, spoke to a second employee who said the first employee had erred, that the restaurant had a record of my complaint, and that its records indicated a coupon had been mailed. I asked to speak to a manager, was told she would be in soon and would call me back that day -- I was asked for my phone number, which I provided. No one called. No coupon was received.
So I phoned a third time Aug 1. I was told by a fourth store employee that they had no record my subsequent call July 26; I was again asked for my phone number and was promised a manager would call back.
Long story short: fast food shouldn't be accompanied by mind-numbing slow customer service. Customers should't be lied to at the take-out window, complains for poor service should be remedied in a reasonable time that doesn't require a customer to phone four times (so far) with...
Read moreThis restaurant staff that actually care. I went there about 35 min ago just for a Mcchicken... It was not busy at all and when i got my sandwich, I took my sandwich to the counter where the ketchup and pop machines are... thats when i realized my sandwich was room temperature at best, so i took it back to the counter and the cashier who took my order finally came over after i tried several times to get her attention... i asked for a hot sandwich... i waited and it was hot when I got the second sandwich... however.. the store is a disaster. It is filthy... I mean filthy, the condiments were empty, garbage all over the place, counters, floors, chairs, drinks recently spilled on chairs that were still wet, dirty socks on the floor in and out of the play place, there was not 1 table that was clean. One staff member behind the counter was talking really loud to another staff member how she almost won $400 on bingo and she is going again.... SMH.... Oh and the self serve screen... that was out of paper so it was not printing receipts for other customers! BY FAR THE WORST RUN MC'DONALD's I HAVE EVER BEEN IN! DO NOT GO THERE! They clearly have a staff that does not care about anything. I would rate it a zero on EVERY level. Read moreI try to avoid McDonald's due to the ever increasing costs but this morning I was craving some McD's breakfast, so against my better judgement I decided to give to the craving. When I arrive at the drive thru, there are a few cars, there are two speakers at this location although only one was being used. I waited my turn to pull ahead and place my order, when I pulled up I was asked to wait and they would be right with me, I was waiting at the speaker a few minutes when my phone rang (I try to be polite and not answer in the drive thru but I had already been waiting awhile and this would give me the opportunity to confirm what my husband would like) I turned the volume down on the Bluetooth connection since when I worked at tim Hortons once a car pulled up to the speaker you could hear what was being said inside and could sometimes be distracting, I was in the middle of confirming what he would like (no different then confirming with someone in the car) when I was asked if they could take my order, then very quickly and VERY rudely told the driver had to place the order, I advised I was just confirming his order when I was quickly cut off and told they'd be back in two minutes.
