Mirchi Hakka & Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Ontario

This was one of the worst experience I ever had. We went for a dine-in at 5:30 during the weekend where the manager told me that it would take 30 mins for us to come and take the order since they are busy with takeout orders and we said we are fine with that. At 6:05 the server takes the order where we just order 2 items. Considering it a normal restaurant we expected the food to be served by 6:30. Even after 6:45 when we ask the server how long would it take she does not bother to reply. They kept on focusing on skip and uber couriers and take out orders and gave 0 priority to dine in customers. At 7:00 we had to unfortunately walk out of the restaurant since they kept on saying it will take time . Extremely ridiculous, 0 customer service , poor management skills and please be truthful to your customers that if you cant serve them please dont take the orders.

After that day i got a call from manager stating that we ll give you complimentary dine in next time you visit which i really appreciate.

P.S customers do not visit your restaurant just because they want free food after travelling 20 kms and wait for 1:30 hrs just...

EDIT: So the owner contacted us and apologized for the quality of Naan that we ordered, and tried their best to make up for it by preparing the same order free of charge. I really appreciate this effort, which made me change my mind and have a better perception of this restaurant! Amazing customer service. The naans we got today were soft, fluffy & outclass in taste and texture! I'd say without a doubt after trying naans from so many places in windsor this has to be the best one! Thank you again. Original review: Placed an order of Naans for a pickup & found out a very surprising and disgusting way of deception by them. The naans placed on top were good in shape, and then started becoming crispier, and then burnt. So in short, they put few of the good naans to cover the extremely burnt poor crispy garbage ones underneath! What an absolute unethical way of selling things. Literally had to throw them in garbage. Beware of these deceptions. Save your money and don't give these people a chance...

After reading the glowing reviews on here, we were excited to try ordering from this restaurant. Unfortunately, based on our experience it seems that those reviews must have been from friends/family of the owner. The photos on the website indicated that the main course menu items come with rice/bread (as in most places). This is not so. If you want rice with your $16 butter chicken you need to pay for an additional dish. $3 for 1.5 tiny pieces of naan is also an extra charge. The shrimp basil fried rice had maybe 5 tiny baby shrimps that were beyond over cooked and hard. When we called to figure out if there was a mistake in our entree being only chicken without anything else, we were met with an incredibly rude attitude. It’s a shame, because the flavor of the butter chicken sauce was tasty.
