We came in over 2 weeks ago and bought 2 subs when the girl was putting the meat on we said Woow there’s black hair all over the meat (girl never had hair net on ) at that time she was just going to take the meat off and apply new meat we said we would like a new one made and the co worker said the same she placed the sub with hair on it under the counter. Gross. We get home sit down to have our subs take a bite hair in the other sub in the lettuce. I called the store to talk to the supervisor she assured me that the owner would call me back. Followed up because the owner never reached out the supervisor said come down and we will replace them. When we got there we ordered our subs and went to the cash the supervisor came out called us liars , was raising her voice. I pointed out that the workers still didn’t have any hair nets on and was working behind the counter her excuse was she just started her shift I said well if she just started her shift she should have a hair net on or a hat the supervisor never had a hair net or hat on. We have been coming to this establishment for over 25 years have a good relationship over the years with the owner we have watched her kids grow and she has watches ours as well. Read moreI generally like this sub shop. never been a Subway fan. However when I saw the toppings the other day it was clear they hadn't been very busy. The lettuce was brown, the cheese was dried out around the edges andb personally I'm not into eating tomato end slices or slices that have no seeds. I refused the 2 white sub cheese slices left uncovered and asked for cheddar. It came out of the fridge no pprtection and so dry. Counter help was offended when i said really your actually attempting to separate that to put on mu sub, I said it should compliament the brown edged wilted lettuce well. She said she couldnt use new cheese unless she used that first. Wow ! So my super classic Ham sub on white with tomatoe, little lettuce double cheese sub sauce that turned into a super classic ham sub no cheese 5 tomato slices sub sauce and saub salt not heated is what I got. Moral: Saran wrap goes a long way. I was stunned and still am she didn't look at those toppings & just dump them. The gentleman that's usually there wasn't. I hope he hasn't left because I won't be going back there if what I experienced will be an ongoing thing. Especially because they charged me full price. Asked for a keto bun, (dealing with a major language barrier with the new canadian staff) I was then asked why i wanted a keto bun, very rude in my opinion, before another staff member informed me that they didn't have any despite advertising them.
The new canadian then proceeded to give me the wrong bread, a 12" instead of the 6" I asked for. Put the wrong cheese on it, didn't include any sauce on a meatball sub.... terrible and very frustrating.
The other sub i ordered was with a different new canadian staff member, things were going better until he informed me that he just put everything the customer behind me asked for on my sub. At this point I asked them to wrap it up so I could pay and get out as I was very frustrated.
Food quality was terrible.
