A&W Canada — Restaurant in Ontario

Want to see the actual truth about this place. If you are a redditor i hope you find the sub redit. Not posting the sub reddit here due to the incompetent management who watches over the real reviews here (bad ones) and then gets their friend and family to make tons of fake new reviews that are good. I left excatcly one year ago due to the abuse not only towards me and the other shift Co's but the employees as well. When I left the manager of this location lost a big chunk of staff members, ranging from morning staff to over night staff. He had to hire a whole bunch of new people with no expirence right away and had people come down from his other store locations (Belleville, Toronto, ect) to help train the group of new people he hired on the spot. Don't waste your time with this place until Alif Bhanwadia begins to treat both his employees and customers with respect.. because apparently even tho it's been a year since he's lost a good chunk of his staff, people are still quiting due to the toxic environment.. it's pretty sad when you don't even work there anymore and people still decide to tell you what's happening. He re hired a guy who was making a few female co workers feel uncomfortable around him. Well once those females quit A&W he went and hired back the guy who was constently coming onto them. So go if you wish people, but do be prepare for LONG WAIT TIMES AND...

When I came in on a Sunday morning, I was hoping to creat a routine for myself, and A&W has always been a great stop off for fast food, but how was a sit down breakfast for a change? I haven't for a bit, mostly due to covid and changing habits. But I digress. I walked in in the early hours of the morning and was greeted with the biggest smile. The building was spotless. I mean, 10/10 clean. There's a lot of pride that goes in to that location. Let's go as far to say it's the cleanest fast food restaurant I've ever been it. The building was bright, sterling stainless steel, immaculate windows and not a spot on any table or floor. Still, Kurpas smile was the brightest thing in the room from the moment she took the order to when she brought it to my table. The food was perfect. A perfect time all around. It's clear she cares about what she does and where she is, even if it's at work. You have a seriously valuable employee on your hands. I hope management know...

I come here frequently when my boyfriend and I want somewhere that we can just sit down and enjoy a fulfilling breakfast without breaking the bank. I know it’s not the “cheapest” “fast food” style franchise but it’s worth every dollar to us. They always have fresh food and the staff are lovely. Regardless of if you’re sitting in for a meal or going through the drive thru for convenience, they’re always consistent. They have great customer service in my opinion. friendly, happy to be here, never rush you when you haven’t decided what you want yet. I also like how they check how your meal is if you sit in so they can get your genuine feedback but they don’t pester you if you just want to sit and eat. I really recommend the Division street A&W. family favourite for us that’s for sure. Thanks to everything you do!! (I forgot to add that they also aren’t skimpy on portions and their poutine is so good. The gravy and cheese curds are great quality and paired with their fries is always a great...
