Always have alot of fun going with family and friends. The reclining chairs are super comfortable and provides relaxing positions, the Coca-Cola freestyle drink machine has so much variety. The popcorn and swirl icecream are so delicious. The staff are friendly, Peter at the door is super inviting and is great at recommending movies. To top it all off, it's always clean.

I went to see the new movie Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. When I went up to the concession stand the most pleasant customer service lady took care of us. Desiree was kind, happy, and attentive to what we needed when we went up there. She engaged in small talk and was very efficient at her job. The theater was clean and free of clutter.

Usually this theater is really clean, when we went last night it was absolutely disgusting. The chairs/tables outside the arcade were covered in debris, the chairs to watch the movie had some unknown substance on it. Absolutely disgusting condition.

I usually go to the movies about twice a month, but since I moved to Kingston in 2017, I've mainly gone to Cineplex since it's closer to where I live and I get points there. But recently I had some issues with them that aren't related to the local theater, but the company itself, so I decided to start going to Landmark more.

Overall I've been really happy with the experience. Even though it's a bit more distance to get there, not having to deal with Gardiners Road traffic actually makes it about the same travel time from the West end of Kingston.

Parking at the Landmark theater is great. They have a nice, big lot with plenty of spaces and no extra traffic. Even at peak times, I've never had a hard time getting a spot there.

The interior feels a little bland right in the main entry, but at least it's nice and open. The arcade section isn't immediately noticeable though, I didn't even realize it was there until maybe my third visit. It's sort of tucked away behind a wall.

The lineup for the concession stand is great. They have a snaking lineup that feeds into all the available concessions, which I really like since you don't have to worry about picking the "best line". Sometimes it feels like they could have more staff working, but as long as you show up with plenty of time before your movie, it's no big deal.

The drink machines are kind of nice, they give you a ton of different options to choose from. I wish there were some less sugary options, but it could be worse. Food and drink are fairly pricey, but that's pretty standard for movie theaters I guess.

Easily the best part about Landmark is the seats. In every screening room except the IMAX, they have fantastic reclining seats that are all reserved seating (IMAX is reserved too, but not reclining). When you book them you'll see that they're in pairs. Each pair has an armrest in the middle that can be raised, turning the whole thing into a reclining love seat. It's great for couples who want to sit closer together, but even if you're going with more than two people, the pairs are still close enough together that you don't feel separated from each other. And if you happen to end up in one of the pairs with someone you don't know, you can just leave the center armrest down and it doesn't feel like you're sitting in the same seat or anything.

The IMAX seats were just replaced/revamped in December 2018, and they're much better than before. They still use a fold down seat design, but the material is a lot more comfortable than they used to be. They're still nowhere near as good as the recliners, but they're definitely an improvement, and easily tolerable for a 2.5 hour movie.

So far, I haven't had any issues with any staff at Landmark. They've all been very polite, and helpful when I had questions.

One thing I'd like to see, which goes for any theater, would be a monthly or yearly subscription package. So you would pay a certain amount for maybe 2-3 movies a month, at a big discount compared to buying individual tickets, and then just buy your snacks/drinks when you go to the theater. I think it would workout well for them since they'd have people going to movies more often than they normally would, so they would make extra money from selling concessions anyway.

Overall, it's a great movie theater. Prices are on par with most other places, and it's nice to see that they have a pretty good military offer year-round. If they had recliner seating in the IMAX, I'd just about...

Attended Twisters on Sunday July 28th at 6:25pm and the theatre was a disaster!

Walked in and it was quiet so unsure why there was popcorn and a general mess everywhere in the lobby. Sat down in the lounge chairs (waiting area) near the arcade and they were absolutely filthy.

Got in line to order our food and was harshly summoned over to the counter and scowled at by the worker. I dismissed their attitude and remained friendly and upbeat, as I am unable to afford to treat my daughter to a movie very often, so wanted to maintain a positive experience while feeling incredibly disappointed in the atmosphere of which I found myself.

What has happened to the movies?

I can handle the no longer ‘dressing up’ but for the theatre itself to be in such disarray, while charging the usual obscene prices, I can not tolerate. What am I paying for? There was not ONE drink machine that had ice and not one ‘cast member’ aka employee, attempting to remedy any situation. I, unfortunately, glimpsed beyond the counter and basically lost my appetite after viewing the absolute mess in the background. The staff looked overwhelmed, yet it was not very busy. I used to manage the Drive In, and I could not believe my eyes at the mismanagement of this theatre on a relatively quiet Sunday evening.

I wish I were done with this bad review but I have two more qualms. The A/C in the theatre itself was non existent until the Trailers began and even then I was still uncomfortable throughout the film. Lastly, the garbages that had ‘apparently’ been cleaned while we initially waited to go into the theatre were overflowing at the end, and there were barely any attendants at this viewing so clearly had not been dumped. In fact, the actual garbage bins were not even in use, they stuck a recycling bin in front of the GARBAGE bins with a sign to dispose in those instead.

Landmark Theatre Kingston has 100% missed the mark! I do hope they can fix their issues and bring the magic back to...

Was excited to see Wicked with my family. Purchased a Movie Night Out pass from Costco for me and my friend, and an additional general admission ticket for my teenager. We got into the movie theatre at 3:05 pm when the movie was supposed to start and the screen was black. First issue, row G and H of theatre 6 were suffocatingly hot compared to the rest of the theatre. Second issue, after 25 minutes the screen was still dark. Someone came in and mentioned free movie passes for patrons as an apology. We decided to leave because of scheduling conflict with a later start time, and the gentleman at the concession stand said, "if you used online tickets you need to scan this QR code" so I did, and then asked him for clarification and he told me, "I don't really know the online ticketing procedure so I can't help you" and then called the next customer to the counter and brushed me off. Pretty disappointed; this is the second time I've had issues at Landmark. I used to love coming here for movies. May reconsider Cineplex as my preferred theatre...
