We had such a delightful experience! We chose the Vanilla Bean Tea, which was smooth and fragrant. It was the perfect pairing for the beautifully presented afternoon tea spread. The scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam were delicious, and the finger sandwiches and bite-sized desserts were all fresh and full of flavor. Everything was served on gorgeous vintage china, which added such a special touch. Mrs. Bell was warm, welcoming, and clearly takes great pride in her tea room. It’s the perfect spot to relax, gather with friends, and enjoy a lovely afternoon. Highly recommend!

My group had a wonderful experience visiting the tea room for the first time! We enjoyed the selection of teas, the delicious scones, and especially the fresh strawberry jam! Mrs. Bell made us feel so welcome, and the room was beautifully decorated too. It was definitely worth the drive from Windsor; I’m excited to come back!

This is a cute tea room and gift shop with lots of beautiful tea cups. However, I had Afternoon Tea here last week and the food was not good. I feel I need to balance out the reviews here to provide another opinion (I have been to 50+ afternoon teas in the past 12 months so I have a lot to compare to). To start: the bread of the sandwiches was starting to stale. The scones were chewy and not enjoyable like a cakey flaky scone could be. The sweets were underbaked (cookie) and generally did not taste good (petit four / peach cake). Believe it or not, the clotted cream we were served was rancid (past expiry, old, soured) and I tried it 3 times to make sure I wasn't confused. I let the owner know about the rancid cream but she did not seem to concerned and was unable to give us butter instead (how do they not have butter on site?). It is likely the sweets & scones are made off-site and brought in but they really do not taste good. There are better afternoon tea options in Ontario so until food improvements are made here you should choose another tea room. The price point here is low for afternoon tea in Ontario ($30 per person) but still not...

My friend and I reserved a table for 11am on a Friday. We were the only customers and it was great. Even if it was full of people, there is plenty of space.

You can't park directly at the venue, however they is plenty of parking nearby. There are a few steps to walk up, so not accessable for wheelchairs.

I loved all of the furnishings and different tea cups and saucers. She was happy to tell us where she found them. The Hostess, Mrs. Bell, was very attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and our Afternoon Tea Experience. The desserts were made by The Dutch Market and presented beautifully on our tiered trays.

*We could have used a bit more clotted cream and jam for our scones, but that is just being picky.

*The Green Room and the washroom could use one more coat of paint, as it looked a bit thin, but again just an observation and it won't stop me from...
