One of the owners reached out to us and assured us that he takes customer service very seriously and asked us to give them a second chance. He acknowledged that he had actually reviewed the security footage and admitted the wrong doing of this staff member in training. (However she still works there)

The food itself was really delicious and if it was just up to the owners and other workers, the service is impeccable.

We appreciate them trying to rectify our poor experience and how we were poorly treated by their worker.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Can't stress that enough. Went for pickup, everything seemed fine but got to the car, opened the bag to double check everything and the order was wrong [wrong meats]. Therefore went back in to let them know and mention that there was hot sauce on the dishes [fun fact, please note when ordering there will be hot sauce on EVERYTHING and if you don't want it, you should guess that even when the hot sauce that is mentioned no where and request for it not to be added]

back to the main issue, the woman working tonight did not enjoy us pointing out the mistake [thing that can happen], gave us full blown attitude and reminded us that we didn't request no hot sauce, proceed to angrily remake it [with less produce] and angrily sled them on the counter. We mentioned that it was still missing the garlic sauce to go with it when she angrily reminded us that she had already put it in our bag [when she didn't] we went back to the car and double checked before heading back in to claim it again, when she threw the mop handle to the floor to go and get us the garlic sauce.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ALL TOGETHER. DO NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU WANT TO TREATED...

Yesterday me & my family had an extremely disappointing trip to Oxus Shawarma and concluded that it was our last and final visit. Poor customer service, flat response, topped with weird justification from the owner himself lacked empathy. I ordered two shawarma plates and tipped ahead of getting my order. When picking up the tray from counter I asked for two extra spoons and two disposable plates as I wanted to share the meal with my two picky eater kids. The owner, who took my order, told that he already gave me two spoons, then reluctantly have me two extra. When I asked for plates he told me that as the plates goes into dishwasher its extra work. He wanted to say that I should have ordered separate plate for my kids. I asked that you can give me any small paper plate its fine but then he reluctantly gave me gave me plates saying that next time consider ordering full meal for kids. That was weird. I didn't mention that I gave 10% tip so expected a standard service. I bought Baklava and juice too at the same time. When we started eating, the rice was cold as it was in room temperature since last 2 hrs. I tried to continue eating but the food was too cold so I got up and told the guy. The owner, with flat face told me that he took the rice from tray and gave me a small sample that cold too. He justified saying that he putted cold sauce that made rice cold. Instead of arguing we finished out food and scratched this restaurant from our list of any future visit. Food was awful, cold, and portion size was small. Shawarma plate was missing fries, humus, and lacked good...

Stopped in to check this place out On a Saturday afternoon. Tried the Falafal Wrap a Shawarma wrap and some Samosa.

I am not sure what I was expecting, but I absolutely was not expecting to be blown away! The food was superb. This place actually makes their own wrap bread. I mean, who does that? Never have I had a Falafal sandwich so fresh. It really tastes like "more".

I am not usually a big fan of Samosa. There is something overpowering in the Indian spice blend that I don't enjoy. I usually muscle through it because the outer pastry is really nice. These Samosa did not have that overpowering flavour at all. The pastry was more similar to an egg roll type wrap. Whatever it is that they have done here made me want to get back out of my car to go buy more. I'm not going to even get started on the wonderful friendly service. All this to say... This place is something special.

Coming from the Toronto area several years ago, I have really missed good culturally diverse food. There are a few good places but they are few and far between. Do yourself a favour and give Oxus a try. The prices are very reasonable so what have you got to lose? It may just be your next favorite place. I know I'll...
