Provenance Wine Bar and Commissary — Restaurant in Ontario

My expectations for Provenance were hugely exceeded! This place is seriously amazing.

The place itself was so classy and beautifully decorated. But also inviting, like you're in on the secret.

The owner was beyond knowledgeable on the history of more wines and wineries that I can even fathom. He was passionate about the wines and about sharing that with people. That is just so cool, because it feels like you're being invited to share and learn instead of feeling out of place because you aren't already familiar with the different wines from the different regions of France.

The wine tasting was a pretty unforgettable experience - wine from near an active volcano? Wow!! That's fascinating and I would have never known!

If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. I placed an online order for glassware from them on February 5, and 2.5 weeks I have yet to receive my order. I keep being told the package was sent via courier and if that was the case I would have it by now. No tracking number was provided, I just keep getting the run around from this business.
