We have ordered from Sopranos numerous times and they have, until now, been excellent. Their pizzas are well made, their toppings are generous, their sauces are great, especially the BBQ sauce, and generally their service is spot on.
However, tonight we ran into an issue. We ordered two golden favorite combos (2 large pizzas, 3 toppings, wings or salad and 4 cans of pop) and while 3 of them were made perfectly fine, one had some mistakes. A requested hot sausage was instead mild sausage, and requested BBQ sauce was instead tomato.
When we called them up to tell them this, we were first put on hold, and then promptly told that "their people don't make mistakes" and that if we wanted a replacement, they would do it but we'd have to pay half price! Why should we have to PAY you more money for you to fix YOUR mistake?
As well, the person on the phone told us they had no hot sausage. No that they were out, that they simply do NOT carry it. So we took their flyer down when we picked it up and pointed out that, yes, indeed you do, and while we were not mad at the mistakes, we were not exactly happy with the service on this occasion. They of course couldn't deny that yes indeed, we do have hot sausage, and the replacement pizza did indeed have it on there!
So while we did get a correct replacement with the correct sauce and toppings, the fact that we had to pay MORE money to them to correct their mistake and the way we were talked to soured our opinion of this place. In the future, we'll be more cautious when we pick these up and make SURE they take our order properly as well when we place it. And hopefully this won't occur again, as we do love getting pizza from them and it's always of much better quality than the big names (Pizza Hut, BPs, Pizza...
Read moreLike most of the reviewers, I can't fault their pizza. Out of the blue a few months ago my wife and I decided to try them for the first time, and we both agreed it was the best pizza we ever had. We ordered from them almost exclusively for a few months. The kids prefer pizza from other places (Papa John's, Pizza Pizza), but Saprano's remained our favourite.
So about a week ago or so we ordered our usual, they said it would be about an hour. After an hour my wife called and asked for an ETA. Well, there wasn't one because they cancelled the order. Why? We were told that they'd been getting some fake orders through online. Apparently they called the number we provided and it was fake, so they cancelled it.
The guy (I'm assuming the boss/owner) there told my wife that SHE provided a wrong number. She assured them that she knew our phone number and asked why would we provide a wrong number if we wanted a pizza and been loyal customers. He got heated and started yelling, asking if we wanted a picture of the number they wrote down.
Most reasonable businessmen at this point would probably apologize and offer to do the pizza, perhaps at a discount, realizing the distinct possibility that the mistake was on their end in the first place and that they risked losing a customer. This jackass decided instead to be rude and insulting.
At this point, my wife politely told them that we would never order pizza from them again, and we never will. It's too bad because they really do know how to make a good pizza. Unfortunately, at some point you will likely have to be treated like...

Before I say anything I'd like to say I use to go here all the time and loved it. Recently my perception of them has been declining rapidly and last Saturday was the final straw.
I ordered 2 pizzas with their online ordering service, and the order went through i got my msg quoting my price. I go in and the individual was rude, I thought he's (a man with a bun!) having a bad day, whatever. Got my pizzas that were burnt, still didn't care just wanted to pay and go watch the game. The price he charges me was more than what my msg was, and i asked him why also showed him the msg i received from them. He said he doesn't know why i was quoted that and he doesn't care this is the price. I asked for the manager he said it was him, and thats the price. So i said ok but if there is a price difference, than i should be notified prior to ordering and now when i've driven to go get the food. As i'm paying i express my dissatisfaction and this is where things got even WORST.
In the middle of paying he ripped my cc off, and told me to leave i can't have my pizza and grabbed them from my hand.
After a few words were exchanged I was called a "dirty Arab" , and i'm not even arab, but my buddies who are were very offended.
Finally, I was threatened that he'll kick my ass and i was told to wait for him outside so he can fight me.
I LOVE food and have dealt form the fast foods to the high end places all over canada. I have NEVER seen this and will NEVER go again. I strongly urge everyone to...
