The gravy maybe home made, but it's terrible. Canned gravies have a more appealing flavor. 2 PC cod dinner was overcooked and the pieces were small for the price being charged. They claim that they serve the best fish in town - I think they should check out the competition. I gave a two rating because of the staff politeness. I had been craving fish and chips for a while so I stopped in and got myself the one and a half piece halibut dinner. I love seafood ( originally from a small fishing village in Cape Breton) so I'm always a bit wary about seafood inland lol. Well I couldn't be happier with my meal. The fish was nicely battered and tasted fresh, the fries were also delicious and happily, not caked in salt. Coleslaw and tartar sauce were also tasty. Best fish and chips I’ve ever had (we had haddock), and this is coming from someone who has had MORE than the average person’s fair share of fried fish in their lifetime. The fish batter has just the right amount of crunch while the fish itself is smooth to bite into.
