I went here for karaoke on apr 13th and never had such a disturbing experience! I went with a friend after just going out to dinner. We sat at the table near the front to do karaoke and the black haired waitress came up to us and asked if we wanted anything. We said no because we had just came from dinner but I asked for a glass of water. She said we could not stay unless we ordered something. So I went to the bar and asked the bartender for a glass of water which I always get at karaoke. He was going to give it to me when the rude waitress came up and asked if she could get me anything. I said no cause the bartender was getting me a glass of water that she would not get me. She said no and then he wouldn’t give it to me. I have never been denied a glass of water when I go to karaoke in london bars which is 3-4 times a week. They asked me to leave and I said I would definitely do so and never come back. I cannot believe that the owner would condom behaviour and that kind of attitude towards their patrons. I have gone there 3 times before with other friends and we did order something. However , we will no longer be present at this establishment that treats there karaoke customers so rudely. I always drink water when I go to bars for karaoke , to the point where some of them just aitomatically have my water ready for me! To be greeted like that in a restaurant is totally unacceptable and I would not suggest patronizing that establishment if your looking to be...

Was only in the area for a few days for a convention and visited twice but on different days.

Thank you to Billy for the Scottish mule suggestion. As I know by the look on your face I sounded weird when I said I wanted a drink where I couldn't taste alcohol but I in fact wanted alcohol in my drink.

Fish and chips were perfect. Best Tartar sauce Ive ever had.

Boyfriend loved the Jalapeño Poppers

Never had sticky toffee pudding before so per my boyfriends suggestion we had sticky toffee pudding (both visits) and will now be ordering every time.

Burger was perfect and my first time having truffle fries, they were delicious.

Mozzarella sticks were just Mozzarella but still good!

Unfortunately cant remember the servers name that was there both times but loved her she was very funny when I asked if there was a bathroom and she said "You gotta go outside" Im bad at quick responses and was a bit tipsy but thought it was hilarious. My kind of humor 😁

Went to this place yesterday with my friends. Mediocre service but that’s not the main problem. We were sitting there for around 3-4 hours ordering drinks and chatting away. The barman who was in charge brought the receipt to us without asking if we were finished saying “I’m finishing at 5 so if you wanna settle that”. So we were like okay, we’ll settle our bill. It was off putting for us since we wanted to sit there for a bit longer. We paid our bill and the barman in a very rude tone says “you guys not tipping me is actually costing me money, like that’s very rude” I was shocked at these words. I was going to tip him in cash that’s why I didn’t add tip on the card machine. After his words, I decided not to tip at all. It all made sense to me that he had brought the bill without us asking for it and before his shift ended to get tips. That is not how you treat your guests if they do or don’t tip. The guest decides to tip, not the server or barman. You’ve lost a customer. I’m never coming back after...
