The Social YGK — Restaurant in Ontario

Im not sure happened to this place. It use to be a great place to go hang out play some games. But tonight has turned me off of ever going back. I understand the economy changing and now charging for pool but we were forced to end our hour of game early because the bar tender was clueless, when we first arrived we went to show our IDs to the front desk worker and she was eating and with a mouth full of food just points at the bingo hall with a fork....so we went the opposite way since we were there to play pool. Very awkward encounters. I just highly recommend this place to friends and family and now I'm embarrassed. 10 out of 10 will NEVER recommend never again. The replaced all the cool fun friendly staff with uncaring and untrained staff. Everything is going down hill. Very sad to see this hidden gem turn into...

A hidden spot on Bath street. Didn't know Kingston had "pokies". The poutine shouldn't be called poutine as they use some kinda shredded cheese on basic fries. My girlfriend's nachos were also less than inspired. Went for the trivia which was all on your phone and only took 90 minutes or so. Time was alright, but if you don't touch your phone enough between rounds you'll be logged out and miss out on points trying to log back in. Our server apologized, saying she was new when accidentally putting someone else's food on our bill. My bad for not double checking. But this was after getting her manager to help fix something else and then not offering anything to fix this mistake other than suggesting the guy who ate free email three money to us. Will visit back, but only after eating...

One of the strangest places I’ve been to. From the outside, it looks like you’re going into a club. When you walk in, it looks like you’ve entered a casino that set up inside a wedding banquet hall. Not even close to how the place is portrayed on its website.

The employees were friendly, two blokes - who I think were employees - could do for some cleaner clothes and a wash.

It also for some reason looks like it’s the back door to the Play! Gaming and Entertainment place at the same address. Not sure exactly why they are both in the place under different names and with different doors.

Overall, won’t go back there. The place had the vibe of a sociopath, nothing outright was wrong with it - but all together...
