Youāll reach the counter and theyāll make sure that you must wait at least 10 minutes before one of the employees takes one for the team and finally arrives at the counter. I went there around 2PM which was the slack period Iād say as there was no line in the cafe. Anyway, they take your order and it keeps getting worse from there. Had to wait for more than 15 mins(after giving order) just for two bagels. Girl who took my order at the counter came to me twice and asked if Iām there waiting for an order. Had to remind her not once but twice what my order is but still she wouldnāt prepare. So here I am, the only customer inside the cafe( not sure about DT) looking at 5-6 employees chit chatting in a circle as they were 5-10 minutes from finishing their shift and was probably thinking that staff from the next shift will prepare my order whenever theyāll arrive. After about 15 plus some minutes a girl came from the back and finally made my order. Iām guessing sheās the manager there.
Next day I go again and same sequence repeats. I could clearly see that how they were trying to avoid themselves from taking my order( maybe the one who takes the order is also responsible for preparing it Idk). They take my order and I was hoping that they donāt make me wait for the food and luckily they did not but again I just got plain bagels with no butter on it. I didnāt care much about this cos it was prepared by the same girl who prepared my order a day before. I let that slide cos atleast she works and not run away from her duties.
They should create a system, if once they took the order from the customer they should not ask the customer his order again before preparing. Iāll anyhow have to visit this cafe again as itās close to my place and I donāt drive. Hope Iāll see...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI trained customer service staff for years. The most important thing is courtesy and "listening" to what the customer is asking for. Repeating it back to the customer to avoid errors. I fully understand Tim's is a busy place.
I went through the drive through at 10am today. I orderd large coffee with 3 milk. A sausage breakfast sandwich with NO egg, NO mayonnaise or sauce of any kind. I explained I have health issues and cannot eat any sauce. Just put the sausage in the wrap that's it. I drive away get to the parking lot at Walmart. Go to eat my sandwich it was loaded with mayonnaise, bacon, tomatoes and sausage. I couldn't even try to wipe out the mayonnaise there was so much there. I drove all the way back. I went in and I said, I'm sorry to me a pain but I just came through the drive through 10 minutes ago. I asked for no mayonnaise or sauce of any kind. Just a piece of sausage in a wrap. The 2 young girls stood at the counter asking what I wanted. I said again, I went through your drive through about 10 minutes ago. I asked for no mayonnaise no egg just the plain sausage in a wrap. This sandwich is loaded with mayonnaise. The man standing beside me at the counter said he would take the sandwich. I handed it to him and said "here it's on me" its already paid for. The girl behind the counter said what was it you wanted? I told her a plain piece of sausage in a wrap nothing else no mayo, no bacon. Tomatoes. By this time I got so frustrated I finally said never mind and I walked out. I know Tims is busy and we all make mistakes. But I had to repeat myself 3 times. I drove over to the Malibu restaurant and got a proper breakfast. I won't go back to that location...
