Went to this eatery because I read other reviews. I was not disappointed with the ambience. Cozy but still bit cold inside despite the 🔥 place being on. The waitress was friendly enough but some where between the ordering and the kitchen there was much confusion. The appetizer was completely forgotten, the spicy mayo that was requested to be in the side, came on the side after it was scraped off the bread, but still was affecting the taste. The brisket was one of the most disappointing sandwiches I ever had, I actually think it was wrong but I was too hungry to ask. Visited this restaurant twice. It has a very homey atmosphere with antiques, stuffed birds and animals on the log-walls. It has plenty of parking either on site or at a nearby shopping area. The washrooms are clean. Service was great and attentive. We had several dishes, fish and chips, half dip, chicken vegetable wrap, smoked meat. In all cases the food suffered from lack of heat. The meals come from somewhere unseen and it might be too far to assure it's hot. The food is reasonably priced, but I found the coleslaw seemed "'off" and their fish sauce lacked zip. What a great place! After a morning of scuba diving we were starving so we found this restaurant. It looked fun, so we took a chance. The wait staff were fantastic, since it was a Saturday afternoon it was totally dead in there. We were the only customers so it was perfect! I had the Prime Rib sandwich and added horseradish, DELISH! My buddy has the Reuben, he said he would give it a 4.8 out of 5! The coleslaw it came with was amazing!
