Wok Box - North London — Restaurant in Ontario

I got take out food at 8:50 pm. My food was under-cooked. I called the next day and asked for a refund, and they said they don't give refunds. I asked them to remake it. They said they would have remade it if I had brought the food back, but they could only offer me 50% off my next purchase. I told them I would bring the food back and they agreed to remake it. I brought the food back, and they told me I would need to pay $7 for them to remake it. I told them I was not paying again to have the food made correctly this time. They insisted that since I had already eaten half, that i had to pay for half of my new one. At most, I ate half, and it was not enjoyable. My broccoli and carrots were raw. I insisted that I was not paying for it again, and of course I had already eaten some. I intended on eating the entire thing but had to stop after eating some because it just did not taste good. They had attitude about me not bringing it back immediately, but they closed 10 minutes after I left. They ended up remaking it for me free of charge, but not without attitude.

The last time I had WokBox in the Masonville area beside Best Buy was on December 31st, 2021. I went there for their Mongolian stir fried noodles after going to Pet Smart and Best Buy in the Masonville area. I got the combo that comes with a 300-400 millilitre (medium size) fountain drink. The noodles are fresh, the spice and flavour was there. That is why WokBox is a good fast food or takeaway there. I found their food and noodles taste better than the food court at Masonville Mall. That is why, I go buy food outside from the mall. If I am craving for noodles or Japanese in the Masonville area. I walk to WokBox across the road beside Best Buy. I am severely disappointed… This is NOT the Wok Box I used to have! After the change of couple faces of the employees and the “chefs” at this location, their food immediately gotten terrible! Not only the food was AWFUL, the employees were so disrespectful. I genuinely felt like a joke as a customer. My food was SO greasy, I got grossed out by a dish for the first time. And it was so expensive too! When I tasted my mom’s dish, I had to actually throw it out. This ruined our friday night family dinner.
