I just wanted to take the time to write a review about an incident that occurred at this Wendy’s location. I have to say before this incident I use to go to Wendy’s often to purchase meals, lemonades and salads. All the time !! Since the incident I have not stepped foot in that Wendy’s nor have I ate Wendy’s since then. This goes for myself and my family !
Going back to January 28 2021, I was 4.5 months pregnant and my spouse and I wanted something to eat. He decided he wanted Wendy’s. He went through the drive thru and came back with one of theirs value meals. ( I will attach photos ) He brought the food inside and I decided to try some fries , at this point he opened the burger and just bit right into a few times (maybe 2). I then asked him for a bite , as I was about to bit into the burger I noticed that there was blood in it. So I yelled. “It’s raw”.when we opened the burger the patty looked raw , bloody and uncooked. Thank God I didn’t bite into it as I was pregnant !!!!! The same week my spouse was having abdominal pains, vomiting and trouble going to the washroom! He had to go to the hospital for his pain. I decided to call the store to speak with the Manager to explain what occurred. She took about 2 weeks to call back. When we spoke , she basically called me a liar, stating that the meat cannot be raw because they cook everything before selling. She was very rude. At the end of it she offered me a free meal for all the trouble. I declined and ask to speak with head office. I called head office until I was exhausted. When I called the head office I spoke with the reps, they stating they will make notes, each time I called I had to explain the matter ( no notes was taken!?!) No one ever got back to me. My spouse had to go to the hospital because of this and no one care. Nothing was done about it. No follow up nothing. It’s been 2.5 years and still nothing. I just want everyone to know how they treat their customers. We have not eaten Wendy’s since. I am extremely disappointed with the service of the manager and the people in the head office for not taking this...
Read moreOrdering at this establishment is a complete waste of time I completely understand why the car in front of me drove off, We tried to order two burgers the other day through drive-through one Double baconator Extra bacon And another Double baconator Regular with a Poutine . After repeating it multiple times step-by-step to make sure that our order was taken correctly, we then checked again when we got to the drive-through window. Gentleman who was taking the order and running the window was wearing a blue Turban And had very poor English communication skills We asked if we could speak to someone else politely And we were told “ I will be taking Dee Order” As he then went to correct us on our English ! …. I am In my mid 20s Born in Canada and a fluent speaker in English. I am no stranger to the fast food industry as I have 10 years experience and was a manager of a franchise myself I would have never allowed any of my colleagues to argue let alone correct a customers English the way that this gentleman did. We been for one last time tried to reconfirm the order as he continuously interrupted us even though we went to step-by-step End up driving off and finding somewhere else to eat this is not the first time at your establishment, but this was definitely be my last time visiting. I would greatly suggest staff who are able to communicate in the language of the land. I understand staffing can be difficult to find in this economy but when dealing with customers especially on drive-through, a native English speaker may be best for...
Read moreUnfortunately now Wendy’s in Orangeville is now off the dining list, along with KFC and Burger King. I take notice when there is a major change in either the restaurant’s ownership or staff, that the quality all around goes down the tubes. We ordered simple combos, no major alterations to the orders, and even with that, the food packaged was “COLD” (that seems to be a repeat offender on here… wake up management) The bank machine seemed to be in some state of malfunction,. The chili in one of the combos was most definitely watered down and more soup-like than thick rich chili. One order of baked potato was cold… not lukewarm, “COLD”. Of the 3 cups given to hold beverages, 2 of them cracked and caved in (one so badly the person wore it and spilled onto the floor) Now here is the crown jewel of it all, the person who picked up our order called the Orangeville Wendy’s to bring these things to management’s attention, and the acting manager at the Orangeville Wendy’s flat out said to their customer “So are you looking for a free sandwich?” (NO, HOW ABOUT DOING YOUR JOB PROPERLY, NOT CUTTING CORNERS WHILE SACRIFICING QUALITY, AND PRACTICING DECENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!) AS OF TODAY ORANGEVILLE WENDY’S HAS LOST OUR ENTIRE HOUSEHOLD’S BUSINESS! Shame on the lousy management practices at the Orangeville Wendy’s, and yes, Wendy’s Head Office will be the next call, be sure of that. We give this Orangeville Wendy’s two thumbs down....
