Beeno's Pizza — Restaurant in Oshawa

I'm basing this on my 3 visits. There will only be 3 visits. I'll start with the service - He isn't friendly, no hello or acknowledgement, I was in front of him at the counter, while he read something, didn't say just a minute but finished then asked what I wanted. I started off by saying french fries, he says we're out, then I went on to the pizza slice, and he said 20 mins & went to the back. I had a question to ask him, and he mentioned he was out of slices. Usually he makes them fresh for you. I don't know how you can be out of french fries and slices at a place that isn't busy and is near a school yard. You'd think he'd make sure he had enough for that time of day. Then he goes to the back again, at that point I figured he didn't want my money so I left. No smile, and gruff. The food isn't worth being treated like that. The pizza is okay, get a really big "slice" but not worth it to deal with him. Stick to pizza places you know or get...

I made multiple mistakes trying to order online today, and as a result I end up calling the business multiple times. Granted, one of the mistakes was not my mistake but rather an online error. The wrong toppings were listed under the Nepoli pizza- so I did not know it was anchovies and olives... not for me!

I’m unsure of his name, but whoever was working today was so incredibly patient and understanding. He took my multiple calls with laughter and a smile on his face. Not to mention he was apologetic that I didn’t place the correct order due to an online error and immediately offered to make it right. He remade my pizza within 6 minutes and I was able to drive right back there to get it at no extra cost to me.

Just read a bunch of recent reviews. Quite obvious that the new owners have “friends” and family (Singh? Literally copied and pasted! Really? Definitely not Italian) adding completely fabricated statements. No question, the place has been cleaned up and they have sufficient staff as compared to before but I’m sorry. Yes Gabe was below average with regards to customer service but there’s no denying that his pizza was nothing short of amazing! Now, let’s just say I won’t be back. Friendly people but I don’t choose a place to eat because of their manners, it’s about the quality of the product and unfortunately their product (pizza) was below expectations and dramatically inferior compared to what Gabe trained them to present. Hopefully they will revert back to what was and if not, there’ll be one more pizza shop gone out of business...
