BRGRS — Restaurant in Oshawa

Went to try here because it's the closest place to get a burger..got there and was kinda taken back by the way the place looks, I understand what they were going for but I going to stay to eat off the chip wood tables slathered with green paint so I got my order to go. I ordered a double of one their larger burgers....I believe it was $14.99 for just that burger which is expensive but the burgers looked good, they asked if I wanted to make it a meal so I said sure expecting fries and a drink which I got. a can of pop and box of fries which brought my total up to a whopping $20+ after tax but I had already ordered so I paid and had to run and come back which the staff were great about, they remembered me and kept my order warm till I got back. I went home ate the burger which was a good burger...mabey not a $14 burger but still good, drank my pop and tried to eat the now cold fries which I couldn't do...my issues I should have eaten them warm but I wouldn't bother getting a combo If I ever go back which isn't likely mostly due to price, I can get entire meals for the price of one burger so it just isn't worth it for me but definitely worth a try if you wanna try a different burger place and can shell...

The wife and I were greeted by staff happy and pleasant they explain their menu to us toppings combos sides I first it's a lot to take in when we decided the subtle we settled on one of their combo burgers which was very delicious toppings are all fresh the meat is amazing it literally melts in your mouth when was great we ordered it with onion rings onion rings were bad I have had better I was hoping they were going to be more of a homemade job next time we will try their fries . They got a pretty good selection of beverages to choose soda pop and water excetera. The inside of the place isn't huge but at this point with what's going on in the world it's understandable the place was very clean and I'm not just talking about the floors I'm talking about the windows everything it was really nice inside they got their own design and flare to it Outside they provide tables plenty of places to park easy access you can enter it from two different side streets so either off Simcoe and there's one on the side I would definitely say yeah I'll be there again we're going to try different stop can't wait...

The interior style of this restaurant is very unique, can't say I've seen anything like it and it surely is a breath of fresh air to the usual. First off: the onion rings are phenomenal. The coating is thin and they are very crispy. I got the panko chicken in a wrap that was very light and flavourful; no grease and the pickles are very tangy. I paired my wrap with their poutine, definitely not my favourite and likely won't order again. Their fries are very thick steak cut, and the gravy was thin and lacked that bold flavour you look for. Not my kinda poutine, but that's just me. The strawberry shake is thin and not too sweet, easy to drink and refreshing. My boyfriend got the millenial burger, gave it a 6/10 saying the seasoning wasn't there but would still go back and try a different one. Great experience, hit the spot. The staff is friendly and the food comes quick. Edit: recently had their fries and gravy again. The fries were cut to that traditional chip style and the gravy was much more bold...
